There is no best language.
Pick one, be a master of it. then learn others based on your need. but for recommendation sake;
for the web:
html, css, javascript
php, mysql will come in handy.

For some other kinds of programming:
python, java, c#, c++. YOU can learn as many or as little as you want/need.

As computer science student... You have a lot to learn. Just start with python as it's most probably what your lecturers will take you first.
