what then is the use of the National Identity card?

Misplaced Priority, instead of using the allocation to industrialize the state, they are busy spending on cards. Cards can come after industrialization.

National ID card,
Voters card,
Drivers licence,
International passport,
School ID card,
Work ID card,
Hospital card,

Na we sure pass . we are the most blessed in the country when it comes to resources but this guy needs to more so that our "Oyel" people would stop taunting us

This is outright mismanagement of fund. This is what u get wen a leader has priority issues. Seriously how many cards are we going to get eventually.
After embarking on this faild project. ..the fed will want to give us another security card. Mimiko , a viable national identity card are always multifunctional. U can use ur position to pressure the feb to give dat...than going after a project that would be rubbished in few months time. Bring on some more popular project bro.

All these pointless cards from national ID to BVN to SIM registration as good as the schemes are on paper have been nothing but schemes to embezzle funds.
Odumakin should allow Awo to rest in peace.
If this scheme was being initiated by Amosun or Ambode, I doubt he will laud it as he is doing now.

Whenever I query this heartlessness by the Ondo government, I get misquoted and misinterpreted. The Residency Card is a great scam planned to perpetrate hidden agenda in the coming elections in Ondo here. I got registered(though reluctantly) in year 2010, two years prior to the re-election of the incumbent governor. Over 5years now, the card is nowhere near ready. How many years would it take them to produce these cards not up to 5million?
Why do new registrants have to pay #2000? A govt. official claimed it is a form of fine slammed on people that didn't register years ago. What if I was under 18 then? Should I blame my parents for "not doing the needful" earlier or God for delaying my coming?
What exactly is the use of this KAADI IGBE-AYO? Will pregnant women, especially those who need CS during childbirth, access free medicals? Will it secure jobs for the hundreds of thousands roaming the streets? Will it fastrack my oldman's gratuity he has been "after" for the past 4years now? Will it facilitate access to loans? How will it affect the economy of the state? Will it #bringBackDangote? Will Mega Primary School continue as free?
It's shameful people outside the state take all these hook, line and sinker. I have made up my mind. No more queuing under the sun for any yeye card.

Everything in Ondo State has been ongoing since 2009!

this is a good idea, but the cards in Nigeria presently are too many... inside my purse u find school I.d, voters card,3ATM cards, departmental I.d card, faculty I.d card,awaiting national I.d... haba,waiting? can't these stuffs be rolled into one like is done in Europe? Is this how you jump up anytime the state is mentioned, irrespective of what context its mentioned in?

You must be one of those "paid to type" folks from lord knows where, all this money ona are sharing. . . . . .. . . .

What's the motive behind it... our legislators need to open there eyes on all matters, not just Approving any how bills. thus, it 50-50 with governor.
