If a law lecturer who has spent most of his years in the classroom, decides to go into law practice and he is given a Supreme court appearance as his first case, what do you think would be his performance? He would be confronted with the reality that theory is different from practice. I may be wrong but that is the parallel l can draw from the appointment of Sunday Oliseh as the next Super Eagles coach for the next five years. Yes, he has a coaching licence, he can analyse matches very well on Super sports but what is his practical coaching experience? Coaching goes beyond analysing football. It involves managing players ego, and preparing them psychologically. I doubt if this is a right choice to be given a five-year contract. But since the NFF has hired him, we are stuck with him but am not so optimistic and enthusiastic. I want Oliseh to prove me wrong.

Sunday Oliseh, a Deltan. He is taken over from Stephen Keshi a Deltan. Besides, NFF is presided over by Amaju Pinnick a Deltan.

Lets just play with flair and tactics....that's my own. You don't have to have talent to win or be dangerous. I was watching USA vs Haiti and even though the US won, the Haitians impressed me with their guile and attack and speed. If they had a decent world class striker they win that game by 2 or 3. But they did not have that.

It is time for Oliseh to practice what he has been preaching and build us a good team. SE need to be rescued from tribalism and just put the best players out there. Who gives a crap if he is igbo yoruba or Hausa?

Oliseh is a better administrator than a coach, the reason why keshi was even able to get some result in nigeria is because all his coaching experience has been in africa and he knows how the game is played. Nff politics will be the first problem of oliseh and this same nff will later frustrate

Did Nzeogwu start the civil war? Why was he shielded by Aguiyi-Ironsi? Why did Azikiwe not support Ojukwu? Is Ojukwu from Delta too? Young man you're just making it a big deal here.

The point I was trying to make initially was that Both Keshi and Oliseh are from Delta (as Okagbare, Okocha too), trying to cement the State's position in sports right from time immemorial.
