The British natives have develop a habit to blame everyone else but themselves for their woes and the economic hardship bedevilling their country and Europe. Today they moan about EU migrants taking up top jobs and protest on leaving the European union if certain rules are not amended in Brussels, next day they fault non-EU immigrants. Who are they deceiving?. They never fault their lazy citizens who depends on state handouts for livelihood and teenagers who keeps breeding on council flats. Nonsense.

Foreign students are entitled to only 20hours per week employment which doesn't amount to nothing in a country where cost of living is extremely high and among the top nations of high taxation. Foreign students particularly Nigerians should focus on migrating to Canada where they stand a better chance of securing residence after their studies than the UK. Britain should be for students who intends of moving back home after studies and nothing else.

Besides there are scores of very good universities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham , Leeds, Liverpool......the list is huge.

This has nothing to do with white supremacy but simply a country who wants to control immigration especially with the rise of anti immigration sentiments all over Europe. The rise of UKIP an other right wing parties is putting pressure on government in Europe to control immigration and the UK already had loads of EU citizens coming everyday which they cannot control due to EU laws.

The next sensible thing to do is control immigration of non EU citizens.

Let's face the fact there are many people who go to the UK on student vis , just keep playing g the system and not leave. I know Pakistan colleges in the UK where they will just be enrolling you as students so you keep extending the visa but do not attend class and just work.

I know a nepalese guy who we started as students together in 2006. He is still on student visa now 2015 and working most of the time.

If you attend a top university in the UK you have no problem getting getting job with a company who can sponsor you. The problem is we all flock the cheap low ranked schools and expect to get the best jobs when we finish. How will that work?

Look at Nigerians that studies in the UK in the 70s and 80s. Oxford, Cambridge etc. Look now, London met, east London university etc.

Any logical government will only want the best to stay behind so they are doing what they have to do.

Australia and canada need people now so their rules are slightly bit lax. Once the number rise to a certain point they will also tighten t immigration laws. It's logical and simple demand and supply.

Certainly they are. Brits are the most deceptive and avaricious nationals in the world, after Americans. I laugh when third world countries thinks and partners with both countries with hope that they have good intentions towards us. Britain and America can never partake in any partnership without vested interest and they are the most hypocritical people on earth. If only Nigeria can learn to reject their devilish foreign aids, just like India have done, which they rode on to have influence on and feel they're entitled to dictates on how we should govern our country Nigeria will be on the path to progress and prosperity.

You'll be astound to see they won't vote out to leave the EU in 2017 referendum despite the incessant media babblings. Never seen a people who say A when they mean B like the Brits lol.

Please can someone point out how many UK schools are there and compare the prices to other top schools in other countries. Nigerians take your money somewhere else leave that useless country they call UK.

Times education is even lenient. The QS rankings is where you find out that most British colleges aren't doing that well. This case reminds me of Nigerian students going to Ghana when only a very limited number of universities there are accrediated, funny thing is, Nigerians go to the schools that are affiliated with the accrediated ones.


You have Korea, Israel, Japan, Germany, Australia and even China who most of them have the best universities in the world and are significantly cheaper than the UK "East - West Road universities". Example of such is the Hebrew university in Israel.

If you must go to the UK, better schools like Imperial college, Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester. Quality jobs would find you. It doesn't make sense to spend lots of pounds on metropolitan university when you can spend less on the university of Hong-kong.
Language shouldn't be a barrier or problem, learn it and add it to your CV, after all we're in a global village.

Those Chinese and Arab students eehn. Over rich dey worry them. I remember Chinese students like buying £1000 SLR camera and £2000 laptops, then start snapping funny stuffs like leaves, insects, traffic lights e.t.c
The northern Nigerians too would just disappear back to Nigeria after submitting their projects. Some won't even return for graduation ceremony. Too much money.

I think America will go through a similar practice soon, but with Mexicans, our largest influx of immigrants.

Immigrants cheapen the workforce.. what any native can do, another immigrant can and will do the same job for cheap. Natives dont like this because they have a higher standard of living to maintain, while immigrants will live anywhere at the current time.
