I'm not surprised because i knew ab-initio the mindset of the average northern muslim towards Ndigbo....and braced myself for all that's happening now! It's gullible fools like Rochas and Ngige that i pity! smiley

Igbos dominate Nigeria in almost everything, so the hausas and yorubas hang with governance, so I don't think anything bad on it.

Yoruba boy...

Let me just correct one impression here...

We the people of the South East are not interested in appointments or non-appointments like the Tiger Clawed face zone who are always raising their ears like a dog on alert whenever there is an appointment on even trivial posts like toilet cleaners. This is because we are too busy trying to make an impact via our personal endeavors so as to succeed the more and give the "Children of Hate" from the Nought and South West better reasons to HATE!

Thank you
nigga how are you igbo and your name is lawanson ? lawanson is a region in surulere lagos state. i see you are not a very patriotic biafran

I have faith in Buratai and Monguno to reduce Boko haram terrorism to barest minimum cos they're from Borno.

However, another trouble brews in the North Central with the daily genocide being committed by herdsmen against the original occupants of the land (aka Northern minorites). The minorities maybe forced to resort to terrorism/insurgency to defend themselves If GMB doesn't do anything to stop the herdsmen
i am very relieved that dambazau did not smell the post of NSA and i sincerely pray he doesnt even obtain the minister of defense portfolio

coming to the service chiefs ,i know quite a lot about M.G T.Y buratai and indeed i believe it is a good move, however my headache is with monguno i will reserve my comments about him until they resume duties as for CAS Sadiqu Abubakar (i would have preferred him being a Former active pilot like Amosun still he has to prove himself cos NAF is our weak link pronto. as for CNS Ibas his job is more easier that is a fact
Good move.. wink wink wink

^^^When you say y'all, care to explain just who and who you're referring to?

I'm grateful to you though for explaining why Buhari is being vindictive and hateful towards Ndigbo.....it all makes sense now! smiley

By the way, this 'beef' you say Igbos started that the Hausa/Fulani are paying us back for.....we can now attribute this as being the reason for millions of Igbos killed and starved during the uncivil war; the marginalization of Igboland economically and socially; doing 'the needful' since the late 60s to prevent any Igbo from ever becoming President/Head of State; and excluding Ndigbo from taking their fair share in appointments to head certain ministries, parastatals and gov'tal agencies!

I daresay, The Hausa/Fulani have done very well in this retribution game....wouldn't you agree? They sure know how to pay back for w'all (as you put it) sending officers to go kill their brightest leaders!

A couple of questions though: This retribution game you talk of, does it have any termination date?......A date when they would have fully paid back Ndigbo for voting to send a few soldiers to murder Ahmadu Bello et-al! And since you agree the Hausa/Fulani have got it in for us and are determined to show us pepper, would you then agree that Ndigbo are justified in not feeling safe and not having a sense of belonging in your 'one Nigeria'?......Do you now understand why they agitate for self-determination or restructuring of the polity?

Cheers! smiley

I now understand the reason why Nigeria is still in the position it finds itself in the fight against insurgency.some Nigerians lack common sense and that is what is bringing this country down
How can sane people be rejoicing and already celebrating appointments of service chiefs.when there work haven't started yet.we celebrate mediocracy in this country too much. We should all cross our fingers, pray and support this service chiefs and the entire military to ensure the bring bh to its knees and stop politicizing and playing useless politricks with the life of innocent Nigerians angry

OK....my tribe has never had president job.

E no dey concern me...what concerns me is how my governor is doing, and how my LG chairman is doing.

Besides.....what benefit does appointing Ibo man as COAS have? What benefit does appointing Yoruba/Tiv/Hausa/Ebira/Ogoni/Yakurr/Zuru/Jukun have? Is it in how the war is fought...or are you looking for appointment/job/share of cash.

You Nigerians.....all of you....go home and get your governors to work for you. And be thankful the new COAS is from Borno....at least he will take Boko seriously...especially as his hone turf is in the mix.
I honestly stand still to recognize your awesome stance. I hereby doub this the best comment of all time.
Forgive my excitement. But I've been trying to convince people that what really matters is how they are governed at the state, and local level.
My tribe has never produced not even a mister. But unfortunately my Governor isn't a governor.
This is the form of Awakening we need though.
. God bless Nigeria.

[b]well I am glad i could bring clarity to you as to why the marginalization of ndigbo by hausas is taking place. is there a termination date for this retribution ? keep in mind this issue is only fifty something years old meaning so many of the contemporaries of the hausa men that were wiped out, their brightest minds that is, some of their contemporaries are still alive and very well and hearty. so this issue is still very fresh in their minds. personally i would say about 7 generations has to pass before this issue can be forgotten and forgiven, which is about 140 years. so maybe by 2105 AD the issue would have been forgotten and forgiven after 7 generations of hausa has passed. 7 is completion. as to you ndigbo not feeling safe, that only applies to ndigbo who is living in the north. hausa is not coming to the south-east to attack ndigbo so there is no reason to feel unsafe in the south-east. even those in the north if they stay humble and stop boasting and chest-beating about how they own kano etc etc, nothing will happen to them. so i dont see why you bring this issue of feeling unsafe. stay in the east and if you decide to live in other regions be humble and respect the owners of the land and there is no reason for you to feel unsafe anywhere in nigeria. you are still nigerian. although i have to admit this your clamoring for biafra is not winning you any favors in any part of nigeria at all and is in fact deepening the rift you have created with the north.
