Ah yes...MKO was corrupt. Most of the people fighting for June 12 knew that.

But June 12 really was not about MKO becoming president....it was about allowing Nigerians to choose their leaders....and about allowing Nigerians the right to be dissapointed in or pleased with their choice....and not to be persecuted for choosing the ''wrong'' one.

All in all....I hope we never have a June 12 again (Which was why I was happy with GEJ for conceding defeat....even though I did not support him or his party. Showed statesmanship. Abacha and IBB on the other hand....)
