Emasculated indeed, I really wonder why these men claim to hate homosexuality amongst men when they detest women this much, na wa o.

So because a woman beat up her verbally abusive husband and he cried, she's to be blamed for it? Why did he insult her in the first place? he certainly deserved it, nonsense.undecided
So verbal abuse is now a justification for physical abuse? Because the culprit is a woman? Don't u think ur comment reflects double standard? Because u feminists always decried men as beast for beating women who insults them...

Lol, I thought I was going to read something more extensive about the real emasculation of black men going on in the real world, which is more like a systematic destruction of black masculinity. And it varies and takes different shapes, depending on what part of the planet you reside in. grin

Anyway, in as much as the internet/cyberspace is part of the overall body of it, and it might subconsciously trigger some of it, depending on how steadfast you're in maintaining the real black/African male masculinity - you just can't take the shenanigans and facade seriously. Yes, the cyberworld has a lot of manginas, white knights, ninnies, and sissies who thrive in overly pleasing some characters for some e-chics that they'll never see their panties. Thus creating a faux image/representation of what black/African male masculinity should reflect to undiscerning young chaps. But that doesn't negate the fact that the lousy chirping birds on the internet are inconsequential in the real scheme of things and the real war against the black/African male in the real world. The internet is basically just like the smoking section in ya place of work where you go for a few sticks of gays, or ya local pub - where you chat to just about anyone you meet there about nothing and, everything you talk about ends there.

The real emasculation is out on the streets. It started during the slavery and colonial days (still ongoing), and since then, black masculinity has been a caricature of what it should be - taking the shape of either hyper(ultra)-masculinity and/or passive-masculinity, to create a faux image and cover what's more or less what has become the generational weakness of the black/African male. Black/African masculinity has its nucleus in being the provider/protector, with loads of miscellaneous things on the peripheral. However, due to the systematic emasculation of the black man (which is still ongoing) - the average black/African male these days exhibit either hyper-masculinity (showing excessive emotions through feminization) in terms of extreme violence, and criminal/brutish behavioural patterns. Or passive-masculinity in terms of homoerotic and mangina-esque behavioural patterns (being gay is the new black). The two polar extremes.

Leave the internet birds alone and focus on how you can educate the youngins in ya immediate environment, on how to find the balance between these two extremes - which is what the real black masculinity should represent. They have systematically destroyed the image of the black man. The black man is either portrayed as an excessively violent animal/criminal or a flaming phaggot, and we need to help future generations. Each one, teach one. The black/African man shall rise again.

Great wisdom today, as always.

I need to regain footing and worry about @bold the youth because I believe they're trying hear the message but when they try to look past their street and poverty environment they have nothing to look at. The only advice we try to offer is "go to school" (one American broken system) or get a job (another broken system). I get fed up with the level of bvllshit from older ones 30+ who have the nerves to yelp how messed up or lost the current generation is but fail to realize the severity of decay they handed down to this current generation, afraid to admit that they've played as well, so they're instead teaching the same foolishness to the youth.

Despite all this, these types of lost older blacks who continuously help mess up the minds of the youth are the first ones quick to defend white people when I bring up racism. You would think African Americans would know racism. they are NOT trying to bite the hand that feeds them and surely they're bringing the youth to the same pathetic table. These types of lost blacks i talk about have degrees while some don't. Just when you thought the degree ppl should know better.

I've distanced myself for the time being but I likely need to go back for the youth and economics

I don't know what you think, but these people like controversy, it has nothing to do with hypocrisy.

Freeze is not your average Nigerian man, he is not the man that a woman abuses, how many of such men that keep quiet taking crap from their women do you know? I know a man that has a violent wife, I have talked about him here before, he actually fights back, the only time he cried was when she was pregnant because he did want to hit a pregnant woman, in all those their fights, he didn't have any scars, what she does is break things, try to smack him, off the tv.

How is it plausible that a man like Freeze, got beaten for years and kept quiet? What are you even saying?

Btw, I don't remember saying it was to seek sympathy.

You know him TOO well to conclude all these about his character or you're just speculating?

From all the evidence provided by the Plantiff (Frezx), she's a toast in any court of law so I don't understand what you're on about.

Please leave matter for Mathias and treat case as its presented. Biased jara yall putting on it reeks gender hypocrisy.

I don't know how well you also know him to conclude, but from the cases of abuse we've all seen in recent times, I guess we can all agree on something.

The pattern am talking about is women have been and are being more abused than men, chances of a man like Freeze, suffering and enduring abuse is highly unlikely.

How many men do you know that have endured abuse? Please tell me about them.

And there is where I have a problem with your assertions .. 'Nigerian men are known to suck it up and act like a man' bull, maybe.. MAYBE that's why few cases are reported and many are swept under the rug to avoid been called a wussy.

So because many women are majorly abused we should overlook the few? Using statistics to Debunk their claims for abuse is not fair because they're Nigerian Men.

Maybe I don't know any man because I've always overlooked their weakness because they're men and since I'm always surrounded by 'strong men' all my life , whom I don't know how they genuinely feel inside when their ego are crushed.

But now my eyes are wide open. Maybe you should too. How bout that?

Please allow me to laugh, we definitely don't know the same Nigerian men.

You can ask them yourselves, at least NL is an anonymous forum,I'm sorry if it pains you that I am confident I know Freeze enough to 'talk' like this, then I'm sorry I can't help it.
