only released in china and Singapore... Samsung seems to b losing its strong hold in china.. so they had to come up with a slim phone which has long been adopted by other Chinese phone makers

The Samsung Galaxy A8 comes with a 3050 mAh battery. Although the capabilities of the battery is unknown, it remains an impressive battery for a phone that is 5.9 mm slim.

But that is besides the point. You cannot have a slim phone and expect that same phone to have a bigger battery. It's a known rule. The slimmer a phone gets, the smaller its battery becomes.

Samsung A series are among if not the best looking phones out there, alas they are mid rangers. I don't see myself relegating my high ender S5 for something of lower specs just because it's more easy on the eyes.

this A8 is running on the same processor as the LG G4 and is running Adreno 405 compared to S5's 330.

this type of beastly machine ...is meant for those WHO knows. ....
