@ Fzero. we all hope for success all through, but we can only achieve it if we are prepare to jump the huddles we meet on the way. I even know of two farms, with modern hatching equipments that still face the same problem of fries motility. I was dumbfounded when I saw their equipments and still managing to survive. Greetings my people.
After one fish jumped out, abt 3days later, another one also jumped out despite that I reduced their water. When i saw d fish, i killed it, cut immediately and put in d fridge cos I was rushing off to work. I enjoyed the peppersoup in the evening.
I started covering the 3/4 of the pond with net every night. I stopped covering them when I noticed foam on top the water which I felt was a sign of lack of oxygen.

The fish will be 4months 2week by Monday ( from day I stocked). They are due for harvest, but I am waiting for their bag of feed to finish b4 I sell. It may be in one to 2weeks. Mycolleague/mentor will help me during sale.

Somehow, I feel I will not recover my money cos I had lots of mortality. But the experience was worth it.

I mean standard recirculating system. Standard pelletizing machine. Standard feed drier. Etc

Oh, i thought you mean a machine that is used in hatching . . .

And I stocked 4,000. Please the Ziegler feed I have searched for it in Benin Edo State and I
Can't find it. Only Coppens, Durante and vita that is gotten. Please let me know the stages/measurement of
feeding them I just started today with 0.5mm.(Coppens). Sir your good advice will be highly appreciated.

U cant start feeding with 0.5mm it is for fries. U can start with 2mm Durante. You stocked 4,000 fishes, my brother you have to be up and doing. Hope you know how much to feed the 4,000 fishes.

Sir u cannot start with 0.5 mm for fingerlings. Or is it fries you purchaseded? Even if you want to boost your fish with higher crude protein feed go for 1mm. 0.5 mm is way too tiny. And in earthen pond pond for that matter, that you can't see the activities of the cats under.
