Which improvement? Our area is worse. Unlike before the change, we now see light for 20 minutes a week. My 100units of electricity purchased since March is still there looking at me and I will pay the service charge of 750. cry angry

This good news is largely as a result of FG granting of loans to the gas suppliers to supply needed gas to power the transmission plants.

The granting of the N6.9bn loan on June 14, 2015 was the first time in the history of Nigeria such intervention was embarked upon by the FG and it's the main reason behind the improvement. Read it here http://www.equities.com/index.php?option=com_k2&view=newsdetail&id=331962

I doubt that if GEJ was in charge, such step would have been allowed to succeed.

Wat!!! shocked

The loans and financial instruments were COMPLETELY planned and approved by GEJ early this year tru d CBN and NERC.

In fact, I seem to remember you and ya fellow inks criticizing the mice here.. Why are you now attributing it to Buhari??

I always knew you and ya kind as a HYPOCRITES here, but a liar too?? *smdh*

The article majorly attributed the biggest reason foe the improvement in reduction of vandalism.

In fact, at a point, the article says : " The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC ) Joint Venture companies also confirmed that there have not been any incidents of vandalisation of pipelines in the past one month . This has resulted in increased and sustainable gas supply to the power sector ."

The question now is why has the vandalism suddenly stopped. It would appear the so much publicised vandalism of our pipelines are State-Assisted vandalism. Delibarate sabotage so that some people will continue to profit from lack of power supply through the importation of generators and selling of diesel.

Or seriously, why? Why the sudden drop? Has the police or the army changed? Or the site of the pipes? The only that has changes is the PDP government that IA no longer in charge.
The is no gainsaying that things seem to be working under the Buhari led administration.

The pipeline vandals don't have any reason to operate anymore. The almost weekly bombing of gas pipelines, affecting mostly pipelines linking gas to the South western region is now under suspension. Who and whom are the beneficiaries of this sudden change, the answer will lead to the people responsible for the almost non stop carnage, just 2 months ago.

Stop being clever by half! You were meant to prove that it was GEJ that approved the current loan recently given on June 14, 2015 since you earlir claimed it was GEJ that approved it.

We are witnessing the disbursement of the NEMSF to some Discos and Gencos. You will recall that on February 2, we disbursed the first tranche to two Discos and three Gencos. At that session, N18.2bn was disbursed and I am happy to inform you that we have moved on to the second batch of disbursement and we will be disbursing N39.5bn, which brings the total disbursement to over N50bn,” Emefiele said.

He added that with the conclusion of the second phase of the disbursement, the central bank had taken a quantum leap toward the disbursement of the entire N213bn.

He said the Gencos and Discos would not be the only beneficiaries of the loan, but that gas suppliers in the electricity market would also benefit from the fund.

Don't hv d time now to dissert you. Just wait until later in d evening...

Wia you na?? You don decide to run away??

APC e-Rats, Bladdi Morrafucckers!! grin grin

*Na joke o, my bruv*.... Wat we all want no matter our political persuasions, is to see this nation attain it's true potentials. OBJ started most if d reforms, Yar'adua was a disaster, GEJ did most of the work, Buhari should COMPLETE it. As long as the power sector is completely turned around like tis happening now I don't care who does the job. In fact, I commend Buhari for continuing with the reforms. It is d only way the power sector can be better. As long as people don't tell bare faced lies sha (like you were initially doing here) and trying to put into oblivion the efforts of others, ala gej for instance.

Hv a great day.
