Douglas Road is supposed to be 4lanes.
The market should be relocated and never sited in city centre.

a more beautiful and well designed shopping plaza should be built while other shops should close down.

saw that dude too... Infact that place (Ama hausa) is a den of weapons.... The mere fact that there are soldiers guarding that place 24-7 while this guys keep such weapons around is quite disheartening
Yea its so not right

question is why do the traders want the govt to demolish ama Hausa first before their own market? They don't trust the governor ?
Truth be told, due to the governor's recent activities ( his relationship with the muslim community) in the state, his post election comments that Imolites didnt vote for him thus his election day jolt and importantly the attacks from Radio Biafra targeted at him, Okorocha is increasingly loosing popularity in the state. He is viewed by many as a sellout ...

In his first tenure,Rochas demolished a lot of buildings in the capital and in some villages to construct new and wider roads. The road projects were later abandoned till date. So road, dem no see, their houses dem no see.
So I guess they have the right to be suspicious of the governor.

Its more or less a beer palour gist which independently i cannot vouch for but my dear the talk is all over the place and people's opinion is strongly shaped by it. Rochas is mouthed though so doubting he said so is really not many peoples interest.

I'm totally for the demolition. But I think I understand the traders. AmaHausa is still on the same road, causing same traffic, so why not demolish that one also especially when they have refused to me to Avu Junction, the new place gov gave them over 3 years ago. I think this is the thought especially when it's in their land.
Again, it's not the main market that is to be demolished but the ILLEGAL SHANTES on the road. So we don't misinform the people.

Nwanne, what kinda devilish lie are u spewing? Okorocha said Imolites didn't vote for him? When and where did he say that?. His relationship with the Hausa community? May I ask, is the relationship a pre or post election thing? And as regards Radio Biafra, u should know by now that Imolites are well lettered to fall for the roguish broadcast from a roguish Albino. If precedence is very relevant in prediction and forecast, may I ask you, are u aware that the first self acclaimed emancipation movement for Ndi Igbo(MASSOB) has it's headquarters and leader(Uwazuruike) in/from Imo State? Are u also aware that Imolites ain't fanatical or sheepish in following the movement's leader(uwazuruike)? Now, what makes u think that discerning Imolites will start seeing their Gov'nor as a sale out cos a mentally deranged Albino with a micro phone is regurgitating balderdash and same balderdash being re echoed by mischievous intellectual imbeciles around?
