Reports reaching Grab.com.ng indicate that the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Akwa Ibom, Mr. Austin Okojie was picked up by men of the Department State Security Service (DSS). His arrest is not unconnected with the alleged damage to the State’s electoral materials. Akwa Ibom reported one of the highest cases of violence during the last elections. More on this later.

My take in thus is that since the case is in court, DSS would have wait to do so on instructions from the court since the said REC is a defendant in the case.

The criminal should be jailed !!!!

Next time, he'll learn to account for sensitive materials under his care.

He should be thoroughly quizzed and prosecuted for fraudulent collusion if found culpable.

Based on his tribe i am not suprise at all he could do such.
Nothing an igbo man cannot do to make money.
The DSS should immediately charge him to court and let him be jailed sovothers will learn a lesson from it.
If he believes the PDP won convinceingly, why damage the electoral materials.
