A group, Leadership Advancement Platform, says the
leadership style of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, could only be compared to that of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Alhaji Sheu Yar’Adua.

In a statement signed by its President, on Thursday, Ayo Boluwade, and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Femi David, the group said Tinubu had contributed to the development of many emerging leaders across the country.

The group, however, urged the APC to be wary of power play that could affect its goodwill.

The group said, “Tinubu has produced many leaders across the country and also empowered many others politically. The selfless service and patriotism of the APC national leader was also manifested during the last general election when the APC defeated the PDP.

“Party supremacy needs to be respected at all times and the views of the party leaders must also be regarded as sacred in order for President Muhammadu Buhari to succeed.

The group said Buhari had so far displayed to Nigerians that his administration was for all, and that the demonstration of such could be seen in the recent appointment of service chiefs, where an Ekiti indigene, Maj. Gen. Abayomi Olonishakin, was appointed as the Chief of Defence Staff.

Hold on.

I am a die hard APC supporter, but comparing Tinubu to Awolowo is too much for me to pretend i did not see. Comparing them, is like comparing Adams Oshiomole's wife *he said he met her a virgin* to a girl that works at Kuramo beach in the night.

They are both good in their ways, but Tinubu can never be an Awolowo. They both come from two different Era's, and so far very few are claiming to be a Tinubuist, but an average Yoruba man claims to be an Awoist.

I wish Tinubu well in this political debacle and I wish there is mutual understanding between him and the Saraki/Dogara camp !!!

ppl always forget one fact that tinubu IS NOT A YORUBA LEADER BUT APC LEADER , there is a wide and great difference between the 2, but because the yorubas haven't had any leader for so many years and tinubu keeps popping out his head in apc all the time ,ppl are assuming he is a or the yoruba leader.
