Despite heavy rainfalls in Kubwa, a satellite in Abuja, Muslims in the area came out in large numbers to attend the Eid el-Fitr prayers which was held at the Eid Praying Ground, Phase 3, Kubwa, Abuja. NAN reports that a large number of Muslims turned up for the prayers and were drenched in rain water but still waited in the rain asthe prayers continued. Chief Imam of Kubwa, Abdurrahim Muhammad, in his sermon, urged Muslims to draw valuable lessons from Ramadan just as they continued to live good lives. He said: “The days of Ramadan were made lively through fasting and increased remembrance of Allah, while its nights were lightened through night prayers, and people retained an expected kind of behaviour. “Ramadan has left us with several lessons, like truthfulness, piety, justice, patience and goodness, and all these should be retained afterwards.
