Hello; nairalanders , I work with Nigeria Railway Corporation. I oftentimes travel with train, to North, and South West states. Most times, when we go to the north, we find cattle rearers and their cows on the rail track and the locomotive pilot cannot suddenly stop the train to avoid derailment or any form of accident; Hence, we kill at least 5 cows . BTW, series of warnings have been issued by the NRC the cattle rearers to keep their cows away from railway tracks to avoid train derailment. I feel guilty at times when such happens cos I know what it takes to lose a cow. And when such occurs, the rearers flee at first, hearing the sound of the locomotive whistle, At times, when we later stop to show our concern, the aim to attack Us. But, at times when we meet the cowards, they flee and leave the dead cows and we pack them some inside the train, if we r not travelling on Passengers' train. Now, do u think it's bad taking the dead cows with Us in the train.

P.S. The federal government warned them already to bear the consequences whatsoever, for bringing their cows on the track

dat should be stealing(and wasnt corruption anyway) but hope its now corruption?

If you kill them to avoid derailment, it is understandable. However, killing and taken them along is stealing.
