Hello my learned friends, come let's reason together. If you have any challenge in any area feel free to ask. No one is a custodian of knowledge. I am in the Department of Public prosecutions (DPP). Looking forward to meeting a lot of you. God bless.

MrMcJay:
Weren't you the one calling GMB Daura Dull.ard and lately, Buhari?

I'm surprised you are drawing government salary and still calling the President names.

I'm a legal practitioner (Real Estate, Corporate and Investments) and I'm ashamed of you. Keep your bigotry within yourself and don't advertise your reprehensible scruples online.

*Spits on thread.
Shut your trash mr man... If truly you are lawyer, you ought to know that the constitution grant every citizen the right to freedom of expression and right to have a personal opinion in political matters. You are such a big idio:t for attacking someone bcus she has a different opinion with you. I put it to you that you are not a legal practitioner.

I condemn you to your ignorance. May it not be your greatest undoing.
someone opened a very good tread and you come there to rant for no reason. My brother you really need help. Even if our pol views defer, does it now mean the whole world shld stand still? The best thing you'd ve done's to ignore the post. U coming here to bark like a crazy dog shows how low you are. Do yourself a favour: dive out of my post before you regret having a Chinco phone that enables you to type kark.

I wonder why a beautiful thread like this is being derailed by mostly non lawyers.Op I am a lawyer in a federal govt.agency just like you&our parent ministry is fed.ministry of justice. Basically we prosecute cases on behalf of govt.pls I have two questions.first is it a must in the filling of a charge to depose to an affidavit that investigation has been concluded in the case, also will such affidavit be tendered in court in the course of the trial.Secondly is filling and serving proof of evidence on a defence counsel a must in a trial?Thank you.

Looking at your first question, I have never heard of affidavit of investigation. what's need to be done is charge the accused to court after investigation and provide the court with compelling evidences discovered during investigation incriminating the accuse. The onus is on the court to decide if the evidence tendered is enough to convict the accused.
In the second question.. The prosecution is mandated to provide the defence counsel with all evidence obtain against the accused during investigation.. This is in other to help him prepare his defence brief .

why not get a lawyer in Abuja most lawyers end up asking assistance from lawyers in Abuja to execute their cac runnings as its faster in Abuja besides most jobs from other states are still being referred by cac branches to the h/q but u wont know as its within cac

Better still, you could retain 2, one in asaba and other in Abuja. My humble opinion

Hiya! Good to hear from you!
The corporate world is okay. Corporate legal practice is like cannibalism. Animals of the same species trying to eat one another.

3M jobs? Thats really interesting. I think only agriculture can do that.

Proud of you ma'am.

If a mortuary attendant is convinced by a young man of 19years whom he presumed to be innocent to deposit a corpse to the mortuary, without disclosing to him that he killed the deceased, is he an accessory after the fact to the offence considering the fact that the mortuary attendant failed to intimate the Police that he discovered 2 machete cuts on the deceased head? When he was arrested by the Police he claimed that he was about to go report the matter to the Police.
