Bongbok:
I am a newbie, I want to purchase from Aliexpress & I want Chrisvicmall to ship the items from China to Nigeria. But on Aliexpress site, the supplier has already quoted the shipping fee & the shipping company, and the shipping fee is automatically added to the totals of the items I'm about to purchase.
Since I want Chrisvicmall to ship my items to Nigeria, is it then mandatory for me to pay Aliexpress supplier the shipping fee quoted on the site? Will I be paying both the supplier and Chrisvicmall for shipping?
if cvm is helping you with it why not ask deir official thread?
this place is actually meant for dox who want to do it themselves.
gracias
p.s cvm don't need pay seller d shipping fee again since he won't be shipping to naija direct but their Guangzhou office address so seller automatically set up a new link for them which they can pay the new amount.

this is the same issue am on. I hope someone can help with answers

To the two of you, there is a different between "Placing An Order" and "Making Payment" for the placed order.

Once you place the order, tell the seller to adjust the cost by removing the shipping fee before you make payment for the order. You'll receive a notification that your order price has been adjusted.

yes I have placed the order and I have received the email that the price has been adjusted. So does that mean that is if pay through my master card it won't Remove the initial fee but the new price?

the company has 97% positive reviews. Is that a comfortable yard stock to trust them. Also do they charge on bank rate or black market rate using the visa or Mastercard

97% positive feedback is a very good one but I still advise that you read feedbacks from previous buyers of the particular item(s) you wish to buy. I rely more on that than the general feedback of the shop/seller as it helps to know what other think about the item, its quality, durability and others.

Aliexpress/Alipay are not responsible for the charges. Charges on payment vary from bank to bank depending on the bank and card used for the payment. Presently, it is believe that Stanbic IBTC bank has the fairest exchange rate which was at least week a little lower than $1/200N. Generally, Visa card is relatively cheaper than MasterCard.

Lastly, I don't understand what you mean by black market or bank rate as used in your post.

Those negative reports you read about them sometimes are caused due to ignorance on the part of importers especially the first timers and those who have refused to do their homework properly. Other time, it's beyond their control (poor weather, custom problem, short-landing etc) as I see no reason why any shipper will do anything to a customer that is likely to cause harm on his/her business name and company.

In summary, I'll still recommend them over the Chinese shippers. Most of the so called Chinese shipper only ship and don't clear the goods on arrival at the port, however, if you still insist on using them, contact me privately for a contact.

Please note that doing business with the contact is strictly at your own risk as I'll not be held responsible if things go south.

I do Asia import mostly. The last time I shipped from UK, I used a friend's address there who later forwarded it to me. I believe others will help answer your question.
