Good evening mothers, please I need advice on the right baby car seat to buy.

There is the infant one that is good for newborns till 9months and the other big one which is too big for an infant by the way.
Kinda need your help on deciding. Thank you kiss #FTM

Buy one that will last longer. Many car seats last up to 4 yrs, and they come with an infant insert. So when your baby is old enough, you remove the infant insert.

This is the one my 9mth old uses, and it is suitable from 0-4yrs. It can recline, and is both forward and rear-facing.

The infant one is better when they are quite young as they have the right incline for a newborn but babies outgrow them by 1year. The bigger chair is a convertible car seat, good for maybe 5 years (till the child outgrown it). The difference is that even though the convertible car seat can take an infant, it's still not at the right incline for a newborn (the baby is too upright.

Look at your lifestyle, if you know you will not use a car seat for long (though you should), get the infant car seat. I got a convertible and when I saw the incline, I borrowed a friend's own for the 2 months till my LO can fit in it comfortably. I'll take a pic of both and attach them.

1st is infant, 2nd is convertible.

Good morning moms! My baby is 5months now and she has been having recurring cough and carther. We've been to d doctor. They gave us cough and carther syrup. We completed d dosage a few days ago and its subsided for just 2days. Now the cough and carther is back again. What could be d cause?. I also don expose her to cold too. My mum was suggesting I get her antibiotics. Is it safe? Would antibiotics work for it?

Which Gerber r u talkin bou,the one in the plastic or d paper pack,d one in d pack contains milk and its equivalent to cow n gate while d one in d plastic doesn't contain milk. They r both gud, depends on ur LOs preference. I buy a mix of cow n gate, Gerber n two others so she doesn't get too used to one brand incase of unavailability. Goodluck wink
Actually this is the first time am seeing that paper pack own o! That means its unavailable in my location (warri). I also saw cow and gate rice cereal for the first time yesterday. Didnt know they had a rice cereal.

Since you have used the drugs and it didnt work, you should jus let it be. It wud pass on its own. Breastfeed more often, use metholatum on chest, hands and feet, steam baths too as my paed would say.

Pele o! You just have to endure the pain until he learns to latch on correctly. He will only be given one injection and oral polio vaccine. It is well.

I don't know where they sell them in Lagos, perhaps Idumota (I've read on NL that baby things are common there)

Have you been diagnosed with endometriosis? That is the only reason for severe menstrual cramps and popping blood. Go and see your gynecologist fast. It is well o.

I do it every morning when I clean my LOs mouth. Some do it twice a day. There is no hard and fast rule to it, just do it as often as you can.

Sorry o !!
Have you tried Bepanthen N.ipple Cream for the sore tips? It literally dries up the sore overnight and rebuilds the broken skin. And try and get your baby to latch on correctly.

Kinda confused o! D scoop u r talking abt is it a spoon u use or d scoop that comes with d formula. One scoop is for 30ml of water so 180ml of water is 6scoops. That's what's on my baby's cow and gate instructns plus I to that d formula shud be more dan d cereal or am I wrong?

Pele. It will stop. Just ensure he latches on properly.

The number of injections he gets, depends on what he is getting. If he will be taking pneumococcal, then he will get 2 injections...one on either thigh. If not, then just 1.

Does anyone know what I can use to stop my 9mth old baby's hair from breaking. I don't know if it is the weather (it's currently cold and harmattan-ish where I am now), or the water. I doubt it's the water though, cos it only just started. Or could it be a change in the conditioner I use for her for now? I had to get an adult conditioner (I chose a mild one that is meant for sensitive people) to use temporarily, as I could not get the kiddies one at that time.

Or could it be as a result of weaving? The educators at her childcare centre just like playing with her hair...African hair does them gish gish lol.

Help ooooooooooo!
