Barks often and when barking, the dog retrieves to the cage instead of attacking. Finally keeps quiet when the person moves closer

as winetapper has said, socialize your dog. Walk him often. And I hope you can handle an aggressive dog.

hard drinks,whisky,weed etc wount make it aggresive.. It would get to the age you would flog it when it barks self,
Be patient and play some attack games with it, tug of war too

Every dog will run away under serious pressure and it takes a lot of professional work to teach a dog how to fight and it's not cheap. Barking would scare off potential intruders.

Like building his confidence, working on his prey and defense drive,teaching him how to bite not just a fear bite in most cases. You must be very responsible and have full control of your dog before teaching protection because you can't undo it and its very dangerous trust me.
