Hello phone savvy and gurus in the house,this thread is rather late,but no knowledge is a waste,cos i know one or two persons will also be wondering. I want to know and be sure of the nokia x family(i.e nokia x,xl and xl-2) ,is it an android phone or a windows?? misstechy u are needed here

They are android based phones. Though the android OS has been modified/personalized by Nokia so you might not get the usual android feel.
If u are thinking of getting one stay away from X2. Phone costs about 23k and screen replacement is 20k. Have 2 if those occupying space in my drawer cos of broken screens.

They are phones suffering from identity crisis.

Any phone from any brand running rather than google android is everything but android.

thanx mahn,actually i was using nokia x i never really enjoyd d phone
