The days of putting up with crumbling asphalt streets might just come to an end. Construction company VolkerWessels has revealed plans for recycled plastic roads that are both more sustainable and more practical than old-fashioned blacktop. Besides reusing material, they'd last about three times longer and survive greater temperature ranges (between -40F and 176F) -- despite their fragile look, they're less likely to crack under the strain of vehicles or the weather. You can pre-assemble them to lay them down faster, too, and their hollow structure is handy for cabling and pipes. This is just a concept at the moment, but VolkerWessels fully intends to test it and make sure that it holds up in the real world. That's not idle talk, either. The Dutch city of Rotterdam is interested in trying out these plastic surfaces in its "street lab," and the company hopes to have an honest-to-goodness route in operation within three years. khalhokage:since it is made of recycled material, it should be cheap. But the manufacturing process could be the bummer. |

Teempakguy: How so? They look like it could be easily automated, |

Winna01: It wouldn't make sense to be bio-degradable, after all part of the reason for making them is so they'll last longer than asphalt. |

Do you have any unused items no matter the shape and state of the items? You can sell that item for a good price. There's a platform I am going to tell you that will advertise your unused item, and in no time you will start receiving calls from interested buyers. You would be wondering, what kind of unused item can u sell on that platform right? Here's the crux of the matter. Statics have shown that there are some people out there who are desperately in need of that item of yours.. To get a deep insight on how and the place to sell those items of yours, You may visit HERE |

khalhokage:if the production process requires nanotechnology, as in, manufacturing by building molecule by molecule, then it doesn't matter if it is automated or not. It will be expensive as shii |

Teempakguy: This is exactly what 3D printing is for. |

khalhokage:3D printing in itself is expensive. Especially with projects like this. |
