MizMyColi:I like the way you beat your drum yourself. After all, if you don't, no one might actually do it for you. Are you the best your lineage can offer? If yes, you're no match. If no, bring your lineage's best. |

fulanimafia:I would be interested in you analyzing our benefits from rolling with America. They refused to sell us weapons to curb terrorism in Nigeria. They predicted the break up of Nigeria this year and on the eve of the elections had troops stationed close to Nigeria to take "competitive advantage" and make use of the "strategic alliance" as you imply . I really want to know all the years pre-Jonathan when the relationship was sweet and rosy and we played the willing tool what did we benefit?? A name? Giant of Africa?.. Like i said to you earlier you need to apply your thinking hats when you talk about diplomatic relations. Our little honeymoon with China and Russia saw us making an attempt at reviving the rails and Russia/Ukraine supporting with weapons while our good "strategic partner with "balance of power" shied away. Like i said i am interested in you analyzing what we lost by not dealing with the Americans for sometime and what we stand to gain. Please spare me the vague terms of strategic alliances or so... you can tell that to the mosquitoes. After-all, the francophone countries in Africa all have good strategic alliance with France and we can see how they have turned out to be. Loss of sovereignty and reporting to their bosses in Europe before anything can be done. If China had waited to make their relationship with America blossom, they might have been worse off than Nigeria by now, same thing with Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. In essence, we are not in the league of the Americans yet and dealing with them in whatever guise is a form of modern slavery! Think my friend, not everything should have to be explained to you, We get bored trying to educate matured peeps. And for you saying i lack exposure, don't you think the reverse is the case?? |

calebo101:Honestly , Jonathan did a disservice to the Niger Delta people by building those schools for their kids . This was purely something their own feudal lords couldn't do for them after many years of misruling this country. Jonathan obviously believed in Nigeria else Boko Haram would have become an important tool to give them a nice caliphate in the North . ![]() One day they will wish for a southerner like Jonathan and they will never see one again. |

| Re: 5 Gains Of President Buhari's US Trip - Fulanimafia by francizy(m): 7:02am On Jul 24, 2015 |
This is just disgusting! Yesterday, I read on Business Day newspaper how almost all (if not all) the companies in Nigeria, are either experiencing decreased profit (within 10-40%) or experiencing loss completely! All these were attributed to Buhari's failure to appoint ministers and his lack of policies, in other words his GO SLOW (or should I say, hold up?) tendencies.. All these are happening just within Buhari's 50 days in office, I can imagine what will happen within 4 years as most of these companies would have relocated to Ghana/Togo/Benin Republic, leaving Nigeria in a more disastrous condition. Yet someone came up with this trash! Listing nonsense as achievements when we all know that the main reason Buhari went there was to solicit for help to battle boko haram which the US declined. NB: It seems like all this Buahri bigots wish for is for Buhari to jail Jonathan and all his administration without delivering any other campaign promise. Even if 200,000 is killed by boko haram, millions loose their jobs, many companies folds, most graduates stays jobless, no increased power supply, no infrastructural development, no meaningful policies (like in 1984), etc, within now till 2019, Buhari fans don't give a hoot, as long as Jona goes to jail. No redemption for this country yet, Nigeria is a dead entity.. Also, I'd rather term this administration "Jona goes to jail"... Cc fulanimafia, dropshot, muhdG |

francizy:You couldn't even try to hide the pain behind your blatant refusal to acknowledge any gains recorded by the visit, no matter how much you kick and cry, Jonathan's defeat cannot be reversed and his corrupt ways which he will account for, cannot be erased. Yes Jonathan will go to jail if and when he is convicted, and that is a fact. As for now, keep wailing.

| Re: 5 Gains Of President Buhari's US Trip - Fulanimafia by francizy(m): 7:18am On Jul 24, 2015 |
fulanimafia:Mr man! The gains worth nothing as long as the main purpose/aim is defeated! People are dying in 50s by the day and you're listing nonsense as achievements? Of what use are those nonsense you listed when we all know that there's no tie whatsoever with the US since their gay marriage isn't welcomed (listing gay marriage refusal as an achievement, seriously? Then Jona must have achieved a lot while in office) and you claim there's some form of useless diplomatic tie between US and Nigeria now, yet they refused to sell us weapons or assist us in the boko haram fight. God save you all from this your blindness! |

| Re: 5 Gains Of President Buhari's US Trip - Fulanimafia by fulanimafia(op): 7:51am On Jul 24, 2015 |
francizy:1. How do you determine the 'main purpose' of the visit was defeated when the original intent of the visit was to honour Obama's invitation. 2. Their refusal to sell weapons is a constitutional/legislative matter. It would be illegal and unconstututional for the U.S to sell those weapons considering the provisions of the Leahy Act. it is up to Buhari to investigate allegations of HR abuses under Jonathan. It is ironic to speak of blindness when you acknowledged in your first sentence that you would deliberately refuse to aclnowledge those gains because your so-called 'primary aim was defeated". You're not just wilfully blind, but analytically handicapped. |

fulanimafia:Ogbeni go and sit down. Your blind support will not let you say the truth. If Obama had invited Buhari and also talked about gay marriage, doesn't that tell you that it's one of the sole aim of the invitation? I mean, Buhari went all the way to US to be told that he should allow gays marry themselves in Nigeria. Let's see how he'd attract businessmen from US when the companies in Nigeria are already experiencing huge losses within just 50 days of his administration. No one wants to play a fool and dive into a pit. Go figure! |
