All this beggarly attitude. Just look at the smile on the face of the minister and his aides. That is very, very insulting.

This is one of the reasons I say we are doomed especially going by what we read on forums like NL where people defend corrupt officials. Nigerians are the most backward set of people in the world. In a sane society, pauperized citizens, irrespective of their nationalities, will stage protests to support accelerated probe of the most corrupt administration in the history of the nation. I ask TANoids and their fellow wailers again, did Jonathan's and his ministers' loots benefit you in one way or the other? In what way will you benefit from their stolen wealth other than for PMB to try recover some of them and use same for further development of Nigeria? Or would you prefer PMB to look away, steal as much as he can too and allow incoming ministers loot as they wish; then leave the stage worse off than he met it and we continue the cycle till we become a failed state completely? I wonder how we got ourselves in this type of psyche that supports and defends corruption! |

PassingShot:We prefer to view things through tribal/religious and political lenses that we throw our objectivity away! I'm always suprised when I see people defend politicians at the mention of the word 'PROBE'....and we still wonder why we aren't progressing instead we're regressing ![]() But you'll see all of them queuing to get visas to south Africa ![]() |

multikolour:Naming, talking and shouting is part of politicians' life. And it's sheer idiocy for anyone to use name-calling and shouting as a ground to defend corrupt politicians. |

PassingShot:Nigeria is not moving the it ought to as you said because of people like you who are blinded with hatred and sentiment. As you claim since the previous administration is the most corrupt in the history of Nigeria, how did you came u with that conclusion? maybe assumption so to verify that, extend the heavenly call 'probing' to other administrations is that what you mean by defending not to probe the Jonathan led administration? Is better to solve the cause of the problem rather than attending to the problem.Be objective and stop the insult to prove your point. |
