Lagos economy was not collapsed in fact it is one of the few opposition states not owing workers salary. Osun is the fourth poorest state in Nigeria but has the largest civil servant in the country coupled with the level of activities during the elections it had separately, it is understandable. Rivers was the battle ground for both the federal and state elections. Money is meant to be spent.

Finally, the state with the most questionable debt is Akwa-Ibom.

It is the state receiving the highest Federal Allocation in the country.

It is ruled by the ruling party, the strongest opposition party has little or no structure in the state.

It was never a major battle ground for the two elections.

So why was the governor owing?

Openly people think PDP spend more.
But from Secret APC spent more time, Finances than PDP. it was only at the tail end when Jonathan was said to have spent dollars and the day of the election in some states that PDP began to spend.
From my analysis and findings APC spent more.
