change d proxy on auto proxy to 127.0.0.0 connect it and see... Also create anoda one with 127.0.0.1 on Autorpoxy makin two... One of dem will connect

Does it power other apps apart from browser?

It Powers all app except some that do have their own servers like whatsapp. It used to work with whatsapp till they developed new version that uses separate independent server. But you can get free monthly whatsapp MB by texting WAMS to 131.

You do not need to root your phone to use simple server.

Yes. That is if you allow 25 or 30 Naira. If you have more, they will deduct more from your account.

Make sure you leave only 25 or 30 Naira in your balance.
