You dey even talk about South-South. Look at North-Central. Even though they gave their votes to APC, some of them are still in support of their party against Saraki as Senate president. Remember Saraki is from the North -Central. They prefer to play National politics than regional politics. Leave those people ; it is as if they don't have bearing. If I were Buhari, marginalisation will even be a child's play compared to what I will do to them. I have never seen people who collectively hate others for no reason.
Shameless bunch of tribalists!!! The APC lost out of the present NASS because it underated the SS/SE/NC in the allocation of offices!! The three regions had to come together and teach them a lesson they will never forget in a hurry.Over 70% of the votes that installed Saraki/Dogara came from these regions!!No matter how you hate the igbos you just can never do without them.

The SW caucauses of the APC planned to turn this country into a NW/NE/SW hegemony!! That was Tinubu's plan all along .The SW already had the VP,equity should have suggested that since the SE did not produce any ranking APC rep member Pally Iriase should have been adopted as speaker.Furthermore Tinubu backed away from supporting the NC zone for senate president because he saw Gbajabiamilla's main rival was from the NE hence his plan to install Lawan from the NE as senate president to frustrate Dogara's chances!!! He did this in total disregard to the SS/SE/NC who teamed up to give him the political humiliation of his life.

The same fate would await any politician or political party who underates any region

The way we Nigerians look at issues baffles me a lot. That your uncle occupies a top position does not guarantee your welfare.

A business mogul was asked what he thinks will become of him if everybody was to be empowered financially just like him.

He said, "I have no problems with that because, it is only a matter of time the money will flow back to where it truly belongs".

I hate to do this but am being compelled to. Check out the home states, local governments, etc of our past leaders to see if there is a significant direct movement between the developments in those areas and the offices they held.

Is it not obvious that Igbos real estate in the north, makes northan Nigeria appear habitable. The inequality in the north is very high compared to the south.

So, what is actual value of the concentration of power in the north?

Given this knowledge, i do not bother much about lopsided power sharing. More so, Nigeria is more of a capitalist state.

I do not have anything to add to this. You are very sensible, may God add to your wisdom.

I prefer the Deputy Senate president to the other inconsquential thrash the APC gave to the SW

I see improvement, very good.

You're now beginning to appreciate your sidekick roles. It does not matter that you're assisting the Yoruba/Fulani SP, the important thing is you're represented.

Some Nairaland Igbos are pathetically biased and hate filled.

Chukwuma Onyema from Anambra is Deputy Minority Leader of the House of Representatives. The position is is also that of a principal officer.

Has he now turned to a Hausa or Yoruba man?

The Igbos decided to queue en-mass with a particular political party, and they should not cry foul that most of the positions of the other party they hated so much did not come to them.

During the 7th assembly, Yoruba honourable members were distributed btw the PDP and the ACN.

And the result was that they got two principal officers from both parties.

They got Majority Leader, Mulikat Akande and then Minority Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila.

That is how politics is supposed to be.

APC should forget the SE in 2019.

I am sure the likes of Rochas and Ngige are getting the message. They should keep wasting their time in a party where their interest hardly matter.

The realistic time the presidency would come to the SE is from 2023.

We face reality...

In any case, APC are not conducting themselves as a party that would last long.

Let's wait and see how things would unfold especially if Buhari doesn't contest in 2019...
