What's the best service provider to use in US? What's the cost per month? With the phone and sim, how much? With only a sim, how much?

IMO, It depends on your course. It's a risk, so it makes sense to take it for a reasonable course that has the potential to get you a work visa or green card. If you can't come up with reasonable plans on how you will pay back, stay away from loans.

'Best' really depends on where you stay but Verizon and AT&T generally have good service and coverage. Simple mobile,Metro pcs,Boost etc offer more affordable plans from $30-$60 for single(non-family plan) customers since they piggyback on those top tier providers.

An iPhone 6 plus with T-mobile (no contract) is $750
Samsung S5 is around $350 or thereabout

A sim card should be less than $50. I actually paid $20 or so when I first came and got a SIM Card. But it might vary based on location.

Another cheap bet you might consider might be voyage. With it you can make international calls at cheap rates. You only pay 10$ for US calls. Google it online

It's actually $10-12 if you buy from a shop.

I still got a t-mobile sim for $0.99 or even eBay or even amazon but it all be shipped. So for newcomer, it's better to get it in a shop for $10
