Happy sunday all,i don't know if its the right thing to do because some say marital issues is supposed to be trashed between the husband and the wife only.but it baffles me seeing a husband putting the wife through on how to handle domestic chores.plz nairalanders,is it proper in this 21st century?bashing and criticism are all welcom

There is No crime in that.

As long as he does it in love and not complaining or nagging.

Discussing how things should be done, yes of course but ordering her around like a dictator, no way.

If you marry the right kind of person then you can work most things out.

There's nothing wrong for a man to help his wife out with house chores. You can teach her if you feel she's not doing it the right. Have a blissful marriage

What do you mean by "...in this 21st century?" SMH. Even without asking, how does teaching your wife or anyone for that matter how to do things better reduce your manhood or your bank account? Isn't it pride and ego that is killing you "21st century men?"

My wife despises domestic chores. Before, She did them under duress. Cooking, cleaning the house etc. This is the only dark spot she has. If she sweeps the floor, it's most likely the maid would have to sweep that same floor again that same day. Cooking, hmmm. But I love her and she is trying hard to make amends where necessary.We have washing machines and maids and I eat at work more, except on weekends. Her natural ajebo is yet unseen by anygirl. She is very light in complexion and has a very naturally black long strands of hair and, above all,well endowed front and back with a 5.4 ht - she has a striking resemblance to kim . She is good at her books, her work, me and my kids! Datz d consolation.

Yea you can teach her.But first of all, call her mother to ask if she took her time to train her daughter well?

Take time to teach her well, before she go use Ogbono cook fried rice.

No biggie, the hubby can teach the wife

It is a proper thing to share ideas with your spouse.

It is proper for spouses to teach each other in areas of which they are deficient.

It is proper for spouses to sacrifice personal prominence when they carry out tasks together.

It is proper but shameful if I teach my wife how to do something which naturally she supposed to be an authority in, such as, putting a/our home in order.

It is a similar situation if I should teach her how to breastfeed.

There's nothing wrong about it.thats the essence of complementing each other.

When there is love, things like tespouse/correcting your spouse, sharing chores will be fun, absolute fun. If you don't teach her, who will? Once you guys are married, she becomes your headach and vice versa.

Provided you do it peacefully and lovingly, she will be glad to learn and become a better wife.

But if you go all "50 cent" on her, be ready for the malice, incessant quarels and mountains of issues that will follow.

Besides if you don't learn stuff from your best friend who sees you good enough to be his wife and mother of his children, where else are you gonna learn from?

21st century got nothing to do with it. Instead it add more romance as long as she will not deliberately live the chore for me.
