PDP Is FAILING As An Opposition Party by sandraokosun(op): 7:30pm On Aug 02, 2015

i had imagined that pdp after its defeat would reinvent itself and be what it expected of a vibrant opposition. I had imagined it would be easy for them following the fact apc did it (a party within a year, with no funds). I had imagined it would package itself and be a voice for the masses to cling to. All it had to do was follow apc lead, have a polished spokesman, and try to curry its way for nigerians to take it serious. Obivoulsy nothing was learnt, still the same old no idealogy, no polished writeups, no vision apart frm the same old bot belle crew who are busy fighting 4 their tommy. Their work is even easier than apc, but all they do is wail. I see many giving themselue hope 4 2019. But if gmb wants 2nd term. No northern born of a woman can stop him, truth is the north as a whole is key.

The Pdp were in power for 16 years. But three months after leaving power,they can't pay salaries. I guess that's enough for you to confirm the party is useless.

Come on, you are being a little harsh on PDP don't you think? You think it is easy to be in opposition? PDP is broke, mehn. You need money to sustain your opposition. They need a few lessons from the former ACN and CPC on how to thrive and not just survive as the opposition party in a democracy. In a nutshell, they have a lonnnnng way to go.

Everybody in pdp is selfish. Nobody willl sacrifice his resources for pdp growth.
Thats the reason while i respect tinubu
Apc used his resources, hotels, houses, private jets, personnel, and money.

PDP is still the Ruling Party while APC has being opposing everything including themselves thereby shutting down NASS for 5 weeks.

Policies being implemented in Nigeria so far is PDP gazetted.

Institutional frameworks still PDP structures.

The only achievement of APC so far is Presidential Tourism and illegal use of State powers to create the impression that Anti-corruption is on even without a single initiated prosecution in court

Nigeria Government is in auto-pilot running PDP operating system and PDP customized Apps.

They have never really been strong except their power of manipulating election results.
With their style of opposition since loosing elections they have even become more unpopular.
They are blaming an administration of less than three months for all the things they failed to do in 16 years.
The more they talk the more they fade into oblivion.

Being an opposition is not an easy job.The PDP we are talking about has nothing left of them. All we see in PDP are like carcasses. The PDP can be a good opposition party. But the problem they have right now is how to start.They are even ashamed to be an opposition because they don't know what to do considering their sixteen years of waste in power. Will they talk about official corruption, lack of basic amenities like roads, electricity water, healthcare, job creation or what? My people, failure is a bad thing that will happen to any individual, group, organization, political party or even a country. PDP is dead and gone all praise goes to GEJ and his wife
