According to a family source, the beauty queen has been battling with cancer for the past two years and gave up the ghost this morning.MISS NIGERIA 1987 STELLA OKAYO CROWNED BY RITA ANUKU MISS NIGERIA 1986 Late Rita Anuku was a first cousin of Hon. David Anuku, former commissioner of Special Duties in Delta State and younger sister of Nollywood actor, Hank Anuku. She is survived by four children, three girls and a boy. Twenty five years ago she was crowned as Nigeria’s queen of beauty as an 18-year old secondary school leaver.
