I thought the argument by the 'progressives'...ably led by Mynd44 argued on Barcanista's thread that since the DSS escorted sensitive materials and provided security during the election, then it means they have to 'see the process to it's end'.

Petition or not, why then is the legislative summoning Mr. Daura if the DSS was within their rights to arbitrary arrest those who are alleged to have committed electoral offences?

This is the reason I have been in total support of an independent National Assembly devoid of Tinubu's influence. We need them to keep the Executive branch on it's toes.
