Prophet Muhammad engaged in at least 60 wars ghazwa personally leading at least 27of them. He needed to finance his military expeditions by borrowing naira from his people who as any right thinking person knows one must charge interest.
Muhammad did not want to pay interest so Allah banned riba or rather usury/interest.
Today we have sharia compliant loans that don't factor in interest.
I think there are graduates of Sharia compliant finance doctorate degrees today.

every one is talking about bad habit and risk...
but mind you private business establishment are all founded on risk. and being addicted to success is a bad habit...(just saying)
