sorry bro...their is not a single software to creating t.v add. yes after effect is only one of them, the bottom line is how good and experienced u r. getting outstanding result is the most important tin so i expect u to go all out for that..
for my t.v add, i use cinema 4d, after effects, adobe illustrator, corel draw, premier pro and even anime studio for 2d animation. i dont mean i always use all these and am not also limited to.....but wot i want to state is dat its based on how great u want the job to be.
wen u use other softwares and do ur final compositing, yes u spend more time but also attract more money too.
i speak as a user for a decade now...i use AE only for cheap jobs and all necessary softwqres for well paid job. the more u learn...d better u make.
