That is the reason one part of me supported Jimi Agbaje to become Gov of Lagos State before PDP messed up their campaign with irrelevant and issues without substance.

Some one just need to investigate the past 16 years of Governance in Lagos State

I have always screamed about contract inflation by Lagos State Govt when u heard the price of Lekki - Ajah express way.

As for the website for 78million. I will give them benefit of doubt until I know what was done.

Banks buy web applications for as much as a Billion Naira.

This adds to the reason I believe Buhari meant business. No wonder he is finding it hard to see just 1 credible person.

Like Pat Utomi explained, if all the clean people are Hausa, he should just appoint them and forget about federal character.

Most of the comments here really make me sick..no one is even reacting in a civilized manner to the information on board here.instead of intelligently tackling the issue here,APC supporters are busy trying to defend fashola and nail it on his enemies as if he is some sort of saint who came to be governor through an immaculate election,mtchww.the PDP guys,kinda veing a fun filled day spewing gullible trash and painting APC bad instead of focusing on the fashola saga.he is mortal and liable to mortal needs and assertions so the question of whether he used such money or not is out of the context cos he did,we only ve to gv him dat benefit of doubt and hear what he has to say,obiter dictum.

That does not mean Fashola did not inflate this particular one but until he responds with a reasonable press release.

The integrity of Fashola is one I hold in high esteem and 'this' won't just break that till am really convinced like I've said. Call it sentiment, call it whatever.
Somebody from PDP?, The 'unsatiable' gluttons themselves I won't even be surprised! I won't even bother my fingers type any shi, I wl jes let it pass!

My dear Bgino, Before we penalize, we need 'fair-hearing'. This 78 milli ish will continue to be ordinary noise till proved otherwise.
Fashola I suppose will not be soo stvpid ( forgive the gravity of that word) to allow this huge expense on a 'mere' website soo apparent if no concrete reason don't back it- My opinion
But like I've said we need fair hearing before crucifixion.

Twice u have mentioned 1bn as cost for Web apps. I'm sure part of the cost includes providing support, on going security and patches, upgrades etc etc. That Fashola website is just a simple cms that has been decorated. 78m for that Joomla site is over inflated

Even guys at at silicon valley will not charge up to that amount to build any website in the mould of tundefashola.com.
You guys can defend just about anything.

Please give us a link to that website and make sure you are not talking about another government contract.

if there is ERP then N78m is a laughably small amount, Addax petroleum gave my friend and 2 other developers ERP of over N200m in 2011, Shell petroleum's ERP is in the several million dollar range. Anybody here that has worked in any organization where SAP is used will tell you the cheapest and most basic version running from your website is at least N150m, anyway lets wait for Baba Fash to talk. This is clearly the work of PDP because they know their suffering will increase when uncle Fash gets there and instills order in his own sector. PDP will die a natural death the moment corruption is killed, their Abuja office has been closed by striking workers because of owed salary. PDP has has never thought of how to run an organization outside stealing to finance it.
