Africa and the world watches on as the many issues bothering the recently independent Republic of Diafra continues. Political tension is sweeping through the baby nation as different camps lay accusations of marginalization which have lead to sidelining of Erugu and Ino states from national politics entirely.

President Whorandi Kanu who married his 10th wife last week in a plush multimillion eg'o wedding last week reinstated his commitment to bring back the value of the eg'o which now trades for 580 eg'o to one nala in neighboring African powerhouse- Nigela, but citizens of Diafra are fast losing faith in him; some even insinuating that he spearheaded the struggle for independence to advance his political interest.

It can be recalled that upon attainment of independence, Diafra relied on the manufacture of products, but Nigela and many other nations have declined to patronise Diafra because of the substandard nature of the products thereby leading to over flooding of Diafran markets and the accompanied hardship to traders...Considering the poor state of the eg'o, import of agricultural products from rich Nigela have crippled the nation further.

Senate president eteremedu in company of governor ndide, Karu, obino and ubaa visited the president yesterday and rumors have it that the meeting ended up in a deadlock.

Southern Diafra have cried out that they do not belong to Diafra and want to form the Republic of Diaf, and western Diafra on the other hand wish to return to the mother nation Diafra left, but president Whorandi promises to shoot down anyone who speaks to that effect in public till the end of his 15yr tenure.

The economy is crumbling, The government is almost invisible and definitely deaf and blind to the plight of the nation. Neighboring Nigela have received many visa request from Diafra from the hundreds of thousands of Diafrans that intend to migrate, but due to the breakdown in diplomatic relationship between the two nations, all visas have been denied...the military in Nigela have shut down the boarders to check the thousands that troop into Nigela daily from Diafra...

As we sit and hope for a miracle, we pray Nigela and the US intervenes...we do not wish to continue this way anymore...we pray for a Messiah.

This is Atiru Obi reporting for Odilii TV.
