Alot of mothers struggle with what to possibly put in their children's pack lunch; some even indulge their kids by packing rice, amala, eba, pounded yam lool, haba mums oginni  These kids don't need to eat an extremely heavy meal @ school, they can do so when they get back home... To me Rice is too heavy to include in a child's pack lunch...Noodles is not great but not bad either.. :-) teryorluv: |

Bag 1. i) Sandwiches (egg salad or sliced meat& cheese in whole wheat bread) ii) Veggies (cucumber slices, nukes,pickles, celery, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes) iii) Fruits (Orange slices, grapes, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry slices, pineapple cubes, cantaloupe, honeydew, peaches, plum) iv) Dairy (cheese strings, chocolate milk, 2%milk) v) Drink - Water (NO JUICE BOXES!) Bag2) Rice,plantains, tomato sauce, chicken nuggets + ii , iii, iv &v. Bag3) Pancakes, Fried drumsticks, syrup on the side ii,iii,iv & v 4) Pizza or Pizza pop (pepperoni,cheese, no Haiwaian as it gets soggy by midday) ii,iii,iv & v 5) Meat pies or Bistro wrap + ii,iii,iv & v 1 Like |
