Of course GEJ doesn't know about the financial sleaze that plagued his administration. That's why he's 'clueless'.

Imagine.. shameful really.
How could he even look Buhari in the face and say that? Utterly clueless!

Despite the fact that I am a GEJ supporter I don't advocate for corruption.
If GEJ and his ministers stole or mismanaged a reasonable amount of money that should not be over looked, PMB should recover it.

My issue with PMB is that leaving out the likes of the so many other THIEVES like the Old Talkative OBJ who stole his own portion in his time, leaving out Thief-Nubu and Amaechi cos the money they stole was judiciously used to sponsor election in the name of limiting his probe to past government alone leaves a lot to bargain.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

It was GEJ's prerogative to probe Yar Adua and OBJ, he did not because he had his own intentions too. It will be a total waste of time for PMB to start probing from OBJ's administration.

PMB should probe GEJ'S. Let us establish a culture of probing immediate past administration. That will make them to have the fear of God a little bit and reduce their looting to the barest minimum.

The General is in charge. He will choose who and what to probe. To hell with those who disagree with him. These fools said nothing and supported Jonah-daft when he chose not to probe anyone and allowed thievery and now they are suddenly asking the General to start his probe from 1960. Shameless fools. U are all inconsequential in the current scheme of things. The General gat to do what he wants to do and there is absolutely nothing u lot can do about it...............

We keep telling you guys same thing everyday - OBJ's and other past regimes do not have immediate and direct impact on PMB's regime. It is GEJ's regime that has immediate and direct impact on the current one. That GEJ failed to probe Yar"Adua and/or OBJ meant that he was satisfied by what was handed over to him. PMB has a right to look into the books and get our looted money back.

On Amaechi and Tinubu, PDP and their sympathizers should petition EFCC and ICPC with evidence of their corrupt practices. I am in support of them being probed but it shouldn't be done through blackmailing on the pages of newspapers.

Abdusallami Abubakar and Olusegun Obasanjo, both of who presided over the selling off Nigeria's oil wells to the Northern Oligarch, both of whom are the highest beneficiaries of the demon called corruption in Nigerian, now advising PMB about corruption and how to handle it.
Lol!

GEJ as usual is always the last to know about his inept and corruption infested administration.

What a liar? You are hearing for the first time that you illegally instructed Okonjo Iweala to illegally withdrew and spend $1billion for your re election bid? Jonathan please go home and wait for your appointed time at the gallow. For you are not even a good christain otherwise I expect you know from the holy scripture which says for everything there is a time.Your time has come to give account to the people to whom you so wickedly betrayed.

Did he say the same thing to OBJ?

Mr President and his handlers should stop playing to the gallery and get to work. Nigerians are being deceived to think work is on going. Is corruption all we are going to be hearing about for 4 years?

Why this interest in Jonathan and his administration?

What's PMB's business with investigating Amaechi or Tinubu?? Their successors in d government houses should do that...GEJ handed to PMB,therefore he has d right to probe..simple...if u have anything against Amaechi or Tinubu, take ur evidences to Wike and Ambode for them to launch a probe...probing d theft of Federal Govt money is quite different from probing d theft of state Govt money..but b4 we conclude that there was "stealing",evidences must be brought forward...All thieves must go to jail..

If Nigerians knew the scale of corruption perpetuated in the last four years, they'll weep. I used to believe that some of the allegations against the former minister of Petroleum were exaggerated but I was wrong. An inside source reeled out the scale of known financial mismanagement to me recently and my eyes were filled with tears. First the flight charter service allegation is true as a bill was sent to the NNPC to which the former legal adviser asked the NNPC not to pay and was unceremoniously fired. (Didn't know he was fired because it was not announced, he was replaced by a professor who apparently was ready to do the minister's bidding). The deal with Neconde and first atlantic?, I was told is a conduit pipe. Although the agreement was 55-45%, NNPC paid 100% as the JV partners did not pay their share. The crude oil produced was however shared 55-45%. Meaning those companies got 45 barrels for every 100 barrels produced even though they provided $0 investment (apart from operational costs). So in essence Nigeria is "dashing" those companies oil. I cannot reel out all the allegations here but was told the day GEJ conceded, madam started moving raw cash (dollars) from her safe at home. If you love Nigeria, you'd pray for her to get well and face the consequences of her actions.
There was also monumental corruption in the FCT. The former minister was alleged to be collecting bribes from land buyers in the FCT. For estate developers I was told that you'd have to cough out millions in bribes before he gives his approval. The guy practically stalled development of new housing schemes in Abuja.
The sad part is that GEJ may not have been aware of most of these things (or maybe he was but I doubt because if he knew and kept quiet then he should be held liable).

You should have just made your comment without quoting me cos what you wrote has no relationship with my comment.
Since you choose to quote me let me ask you

Do you view OBJ and Amaechi government as APC led government?

Should the Fight against corruption be partisan?

Are we not allowing party loyalty to becloud our reasoning and comments against our duty to National interest.

How long will we continue in this vindictive approach to governance where the next government is gearing up a battle against the previous in the name of party affiliations?

what stopped PDP from probing these guys oh they were busy looting the country dry.

I dont believe this story. Moreover its coming from one source"nation newspaper"which is Tinubus paper. No other dailies carried the news. However my take on corruption is this,Anybody who is seen to have engaged in any corrupt activity either in the previous regime or this one should face the consequence of the law.If we are to get things right in this country,we should start by upholding the law and make it known to every citizen, that "nobody is above the law".And whoever breaks the law should face the consequence.

When contacted, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Mr. Femi Adesina, said: “I am aware that President Buhari met with ex-President Goodluck Jonathan but it was behind closed doors. I don’t have the details of what they discussed.”
If a whole presidential spokesman was locked out, where did TINUBU's Nation get this information from? I have decided not to believe anything from The Nation...So the SOURCE was there in the meeting when Adesina was locked out? Atleast these lairs should know that we can read inbetween lines

News have a way of getting out to the public. I'm sure you must have heard of investigative journalism.

NOTHING can be hidden for long and forever. It's part of life's lesson you must always remember.

Oga...which one is petition again? With evidence kwanu? Why are they being paid? Is it the job of Nigerians to petition them and also provide them with evidence? Na wa ooo. If this is the job description of an EFCC or ICPC worker, I should be doing everything in my power to get an appointment there. Since all they do is sit in their offices and wait for petitions that comes with evidence.
