Its so sad the way Life has turned out for Majek.

I knew him then way back in Benin.he was very chubby, quiet and hansome.I used to pass their family house at iwehen street close to idia college by Bishop's court.

He had a brother then (joe Fabro) who used to work with EBS.they were step brothers of same mother (Madam Idusuyi Igodan) but different father.When joe fabro died, Majek was looking for his brother's house, I think he just came from America then, that was the day I saw him one on one.

He pulled close to me and my friends as we were gisting and asked for the address holding a piece of paper in his hand.He was driving a metalic 504..

........But years later, Majek became a shadow of himself.

May God heal him and grant him good health.

Lets face it. Majek Fashek is just fed up with life, but is too scared to end it. A lot of individuals have shown this guy love all over the country. Individuals have housed him, clothed him and even offered financial help, but he is just not ready to quit drugs. No one wants a liability, at least there is an extent to which one can endure or tolorate an addicts penchant for drugs.

I ran into Majek Fashek on the island at a very popular private hospital, i guess somebody must have checked him in(definitely at a huge cost going by the hospital reputation). Then, he would come out to make friends on the street and beg money to get marijuana. As it is, the great Majek Fashek has become a national project that could be saved, if not we might just be seeing another whitney houston case in the making.

I just hope prayers can save him.

Those that trust in the lord shall be like mount Zion which shall never be deserted.... That's God's word at work.

I wish him quick recovery. Should he need some tracks of songs to get started again, I'm ready to write him an album free. Probably, perform with him as well.
