Lolz... People here sounds xo dumb.. Let's face the actual fact now. Do you know that electronic gadget such as phones,laptop,game consoles etc,are 5times more many than the human beings populated on the entire earth.Bill gate dream was/is to ensure at least 1 computer in every home in the entire planet,now tell me,has he not achieve that dream and he's still achieving such dream cos everyday people buy new laptops and not everybody can afford mac. If you like buy samsung laptop of 500k,its still under microsoft and you have actually added to bill gates pocket. If G.O adeboye,in which am sure he has,is of course using a laptop,now tell me has he not automatically added to bill gates pocket. People love to have laptops,iphones,ps4,xbox but who loves going to church. I won't lie for you,I don't like church but I wanna make heaven and I believe in God,mind you! As far as I have good heart and good intentions with.a pure mind. I even pray sometimes. So in essence,what am saying is the yes for G.O adeboye,his congregations can give him cars,he can have 18x houses and can earn faster than bill gates maybe only on everysundays mostly but he can never be richer than bill gates as far as we all love to urgently hurry and love to but a laptop,even nokia lumia which is under bill gates now. Then I doubt. G.O adeboye has churches in 18x countries nationwide,while bill gates has companies in more 25x countries and still counting worldwide. How many people goes to redeem(rccg) in that 18x countries worldwide. In some countries e.g nigeria,usa,china,japan etc and many more. It is mandatory for every student to have a laptop and tablets... In my family we re six children,two has windows tablets,three has laptops(windows),then only one has mac(ios). In surulere,yahoo boys are everywhere and they need laptop. Even a 6years old child can open and on a laptop and if possible log out also. I know we need God but some great and successful people in various careers do not believe in God. Does it guarantee they won't succeed even when they are very intelligent in the field e.g doctors,engineers,scientist,pilot,journalist,artist,etc does it means if they don't go to church they won't succeed. Chris brown didn't go to church in 14years but surely has a laptop. Psquare haven't gone to church for closely 7-8years but they have a laptop at least and they are highly in success. Bill Gate everyyear always donates billion to millions of dollars to africa and he is still in 8x billion dollars. What about he didn't donate atall at first he could probably maybe have past 120 billion dollars now. My advice is,what G.O adeboye did his highly wrong. In one way or the order to me he is boasting. In the bible when jesus met two of his disciples who where fishermen,he told them "leave everything you are doing and follow me,let me make you fishers of men" and they left it instantly and followed jesus. I don't know why our G.O owns private jets. Some owns 4-5 jets alone and when I mean alone,I mean alone,not even for the church. G.O's and pastors have turned God's work to business or would I say business minded men. God have mercy on Us and on every G.O's and pastor's ministering for God.

T.D Jakes is a Billionaire that has made his money from selling people nothing just like Adeboye and co.. I don't see how morals ties to Tithe and offerings and other self-enrichment schemes being used by these pastors. You don't need religion to be moral, just obey the fhucking constitution and laws and you would be the most moral man on earth. Religion sells people eternal life in exchange for their earthly wealth and servitude to the selected few mangers (Pastors).

I didn't call Africa weaklings, you just thought that way in your head.. But there is no questioning the fact that Religion thrives greatly in the midst of poverty, if in doubt look at the most religious continent in the World which is Africa.

Paul does not refer to anyone as a "son" except Timothy - who he literarily fathered, Timothy lived with him as a son. For the Corinthians Paul had refred to them severally as brothers and sisters as you can see in several verses, e.g :

verse 3 "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."
Verse 10 &11: "I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you."

Yes Paul in persuading them reminded them that he is like a father unto them. And he can say that becuase he founded the church at corinth and he personally discipled many of these men. Paul will not write to the church in Rome and call them "his children" cause he barely know them. James the elder was like the leader of the worlwide church at that time and he did not refer to anyone as "children", rather as brother. Just because somebody is now a christian and attends a branch of RCCG does not make them children of Adeboye.

Understanding Pauls letter to the Corinthians in context. He refered to them more as "brothers and sisters" and on one occassion actually said to them that spritually he can call them his "children" having brought them the goodnews and taught them the christian doctrine.

Now go back to Pastor Adeboye's use of the term. These are quite different approach. I once went to an RCCG church and said "Pastor Adeboye is a fellow brother in Christ". You have to see their reaction - "who are you to call Daddy a brother?" " This is disrespect" etc to quote a few. He is definitely not talking as though the congregation are felllow believers. Once upon a time in the Nigerian church ( I mean christians in Nigeria) everyone is a brother. A professor can sweep the floor where an office messenger will sleep. Status was nothing. Everyone is a brother/sister. Now there are fathers, and grandfathers - even those who have no personal contact with you, now refer to you as "children" in the Nigerian church - which is very different from the concept of paul's letter. A levitical order of senoirity has overtaken common salvation in the Nigerian church.

It is a shame that many christian leaders justify their heresy by quoting a verse out of context. They form a doctrine based on a verse - e.g. malachi 3 being used to exploit christians under the banner of " some special blessings not available in Christ", or the new craze of firstfruit. Things that have no bearing with the christian faith.

My prayer is that the goodnews will be preached to all men and not heresy or denomination.

But a lots of church members are still homeless, jobless and financially handicapped.

It's a pity these so called pastors never even practice what it is they minister about all day year round. Why not tell your gullible fools so referred to as the rich in your churches that you needed a car, I'm sure that should provide cars for atleast 100th of your congregation in need of car.
