Jaja of Opobo, founder of Opobo.

Jaja of Opobo (full name: Jubo Jubogha; 1821–1891) was a merchant prince and the founder of Opobo city-state in an area that is now part of Nigeria. Born in Umuduruoha, Amaigbo,[citation needed] in Igboland, he was sold at about the age of twelve as a slave in Bonny. Jumo Jumofe later took the name "Jaja" for his dealings with the British.

Sports are owned by Igbo people
music and movies na Igbo get am
until a yoruba person win an individual GOLD medal at the olympic games, beat KANU and MIKEL OBI as most decorated ballers outta 9ja, have more YOUTUBE view than PSQUARE, appear in movies more than GENEVIVE or STEPHANIE OKEREKE, become world youngest female black pilot, or have a book translated into over 75 languages, refine crude without refineries, etc etc, beat ZIK to first african president ha ha ha change 5% into money spinning game, beat UNN to largest westafrican library, become billionaires without government presence, Igbos will continue to be the higher than them! I will respect YORUBA the day they float a radio that will trendas NUMBER ONE in the whole world for just 1 HOUR just like the UNJAMMABLE RADIO BIAFRA! I will respect yoruba when the produce a man who gives even BUHArAm nightmares in the person of NNAMDI KANU. Until the YORUBA people get half of the above mentoned, the IGBO peole only compete with themselves! If yoruba people are angry, let them COME LETS MAKE S.E a NO MAN'S LAND!

I give zero thought wen it comes to any tribe topics;
Either igbo,yoruba or hausa all matters is our togetherness....we are one Nigeria and we should join hands to contribute for the growth of this country!

If we are lieing to measure up with the Yorubas as you rightly put it, why would this same Yourbas be crying for we, the Igbos, to opt out of the city we contributed a great deal in developing? By so doing, who is afraid of who knowing fully well that they are better than them in all ramifications that's why they're afraid of loosing their lands to a tribe with more educational, business and political acumen. The truth isn't far fetched. On carefully analysis of the novel,"There was a country" by our very own Father of African Literature, Late Sir Chinua Achebe, one not only discovers the "Truth" but also gets to know that "Truly Speaking There Was A Country".

Lalasticlala I plead with you in the name of God, do the needed.
