Advisory Committee on Corruption? What is the committee really going to advice on?
Who to go after or the number of years they spend in prison? I really don't understand.
There are already govt agencies saddled with the task of the fight against corruption, why not truly empower and strengthen them for more efficiency? Constituting an advisory committee when there are well defined roles for EFCC, ICPC and the courts smacks of cluelessness and waste of resources in an 'empty treasury'.
Secondly, Buhari needs to be adviced not to start a fight against the bench for he will turn out worse for it. Disrespecting judges because he lost his appeal doesn't bode well for harmonious relationship between the executive and judiciary. That's that arrogance we who know him very well have always talked about.
He needs to be reminded that at the end of the day, those judges he has disrespected will be the ones to decide the final fate of his anti corruption rule.

I don't just know why, but I have realized that I have become indifferent to committees despite knowing that they are a veritable tool in achieving clearly defined assignments. I guess this is a result of how Jonathan set up committee for virtually everything without having much to show for it.

On this committee of eminent personalities to advise the president on how to fight corruption which is a cardinal point of his campaign promises, I can only wish it success in helping the president to achieve his goal of ridding the country of corruption.

That there is no single judge, past or present, in the committee is a shame to the members of the bench. After NNPC, NPA, NPF and perhaps the education sector, judges must be the next on the list of ultra corrupt institutions. Theirs is even worse than any of the other sector given that they're supposed to be "the last hope of the common man".
i think d part of story about buhari having beef 4 judges might have been blown out of proportion. d story seems so petty. itse sagay is an authority in constitutional law and he represents d judiciary so i dont think any judge will have a problem with that

Absolute nonsense, what evidence do you have against the many other than the fact that they refused to give Buhari victory at the Supreme Court which he even doesn't deserve.
