We challenge Dullardinhoe to come
out in clean hands in those two portfolios he
headed. Or, we will help him to expose his
records of performance during those periods.
Those who live in glass houses do not throw
stones. "General Buhari should be properly guided.” |

pharmagba:How is a call for the investigation of the notorious Harllibuton case, translate to a fight against those fighting corruption? Ok, 1960 is too far, how about starting from 1985 or even 1999?? Still a distraction? So now, in Nigeria, the fight against corruption begins and ends with a probe of JUST jonathans regime?? |

Dullardi%%%nho is the master of the art of ' playing 'holier than thou'. He held important positions in the past and we know his hands are not clean. The APC apologist s are now demanding for link to the CNN news while such allegations against Jonathan were never questioned link or no link. By their actions, they are fast moving this nation to disintegration more than the agitators themselves. A president who served the country diligently and conceded defeat in the face of glaring conspiracy against him is not allowed to rest just because he is a minority with no military background. The other day Obasanjo was even bold to say that the Niger Deltans will be adversely affected by the actions of Jonathan in Government meaning it will be difficult for another person from the region to emerge as president. Dullardi%%%nho should just realize that this is not 1985. Now, people are better informed and his Bleep up will be treated adequately when necessary. |

on the cnn page, it clearly says "this report is not verified by cnn", so why does the topic say "cnn investigates" . That is a false statement |

That tells us there are sacred cows that cannot be touched. And those sacred cows are.. OBJ, IBB, Adbusalam,Tinubu, Atiku, Sanusi.... So leaving only GEJ.... The little fish.. Watching in 5D |

Very interesting. If Buhari is holy as he potray himself to the public, let him probe IBB, OBJ and the Halliburton scandal. Failure to do so means he is as corrupt as IBB and OBJ. |

Truth be told... PMB "might" have dropped the investigation because alot of political juggernauts will be implicated...some whom sponsored him. |

This is the plain simple truth the bush family has a major stake in haliburton. The democrats are most likely not going to win the 2016 presidential election because of hilary clinton is likely to be their front runner. Americans don't like her. Now if the republicans enter the white house they would so truncate buhari govt he would wish he was neva born. Copule with the fact that his men atiku and obj are tied to that deal. |

Got as far as CNN iReport..., and knew the rest wasn't worth it. This is basically an individual reporting "news" as he sees it. The disclaimer says it all. MODS you should know better. |

Why is everyone after one useless link? If you need CNN link to verify the allegation on Buhari do you also need link to verify the USD182m Halliburton saga? Why are we no longer hearing about it suddenly? We should be the ones giving CNN information on these cases. Just imagine getting a from the village that your wife living with you in the city is sick. To me, I think anything worth probing should be probed if we must get it right. In the same vein, would it have been right if GEJ singled out PMB's military regime to probe while they were running election just to nail him? I'm sure we would have all stood against that. If PMB really wants to fight corruption he should do it the way it should be done. I support the fight but I'm against it if it is selective. Just imagine OBJ giving PMB hints on what to use and probe Jonathan forgetting that it was just like yesterday he left office and is still fresh in our memories how he almost sold the whole country to himself. God bless Nigeria. |

Point of correction. The money that disappeared was 2.8 billion naira which amounts to 5.6 billion dollars because at that time N1= $2. Also N25 billion of PTF funds disappeared too under PMB. We need explanation. I repeat PMB cannot probe anyone because all of them are not clean. |

erunz:Even before reading the DISCLAIMER by the cnn, I knew this couldn't have come from a reputable journalist. The statement purportedly issued by IBB (which I bolded) was published in June 2013 when GMB had not even declared his intention to run for president! APC had not even been registered. The statement was purportedly issued by IBB (and he denied it then) when President Jonathan and Buhari (as former head of state) at a public ceremony, criticized previous administrations especially IBB regime for institutionalizing corruption. The blogger attributed the statement to the outcome of the meeting of the ex- heads of state as if GMB was already in power then and even said that Adesina responded on behalf of Buhari as presidential spokesman. Adesina had not been appointed as Special Adviser then because GEJ was still in power What even made the time attributed to the Afegbua's statement wrong is that Afegbua is no longer IBB's spokesman. He is currently the Special Adviser on Media to Oshiomole in Edo state |

erunz:Seun Osewa I'll reiterate that it has become imperative for you to run an IQ test before appointing your moderators, lest the integrity of the Nairaland FP be further enmeshed with utter mediocrity and falsehood more than it already has. Imagine the nonsensical mischievousness whereby an unverifiable "iReport" has been moved to the FP and being fed to the public as authentic news, without a disclaimer notice attached directly to the post by Nairaland. As a matter of fact, iReport as originally designed by CNN is to enable the public send in their own verifiable news story as they witnessed it happen live and supply evidences like video recordings....etc to back up such claims, or provide the means to have such claims verified. No evidences were provided to allow the verification of this report; hence, a glaring, blatant, unambiguous, and unmistakable disclaimer was attached by CNN directly to the report because they understand the legal consequences of libelous publications without any justification and means of verification. It has come to our attention that several credible news topics in the politics section are left in perpetual obscurity but a beer-palor tale is hurriedly, at lightning speed, moved to the front page just because it portrays the Buhari administration in bad light and casts aspersions on the president's integrity and anti-corruption stance. I sincerely hope Barrister Francis will come to your aid when the need arises. For those that don't know who this outstanding legal luminary is, Barrister Francis is the self-acclaimed imaginary fictitious first-class Law graduate of Unilorin, to mention a few of his academic accolades; and he is perhaps Nairaland's legal hero. Because that your moderator gleefully, albeit with bottomless stupidïty, put his scam on the FP for a considerable amount of time significant enough to have misinformed the public and caused rancor as it did. Your moderator willingly gave an obvious fraudster the most undeserved ever 5-minutes of fame on Nairaland, simply because his article was against Sahara Reporters. This makes it glaring to rightly deduce that the said idiötic moderator, whomever it is, likely despises Sahara Reporters so much and possibly has political vendetta against the media outfit to warrant such an action. There's a big difference between freedom of speech and libel. Freedom of speech must be protected, supported and promoted at all costs; but libel must be rescinded. This iReport constitutes as a libel. There are grave consequences for publicizing libel. |
