Chidoks: Just stay HAPPY in marriage while their relationships are in a limbo. Have they ever wondered why most TRUE feminists (not the fake Nairaland brand) are single? The Beyonce analogy of being a true feminist is hoax. The same woman sung 'Single Ladies' to depict that a woman is incomplete until a man " comes put a ring on it" and makes her his wife. ![]() The same Beyonce named her tour "THE MRS CARTER" to depict that being married to a man ELEVATES her. The same Beyonce sang "Rise Up". Listen to the lyrics and you'd find out she's encouraging men and women to risk it all in relationships. In 'Half Of A Yellow' by Adichie ( their supposed feminist mentor), she portrayed Olomma(?) as the damsel-in-distress who looked up to and needed saving by Odenigbo. ![]() Olomma(?) was the DUTIFUL girlfriend, and later, wife of Odenigbo. Adichie portrayed women as the WEAKER BEINGS and HELPERS. I implore any of these feminists to counter these claims...or they might conveniently avoid these truths. ![]() |

Can these women mention other famous feminists apart from Beyonce and Adichie (whom I have countered their feminist claims) who aren't divorcees or are actively dating? ![]() |

I read through all the comments and wondered why some women talk in razz manner.like seriously? your husband baby factory is a public property?? what does that make your own? you accuse decent women of praying & fasting, plus making excuses for their husbands yet you liken their( and your) most private property to a stairway.this is not the will of God o! you people should learn to fear God.don't go about confusing and corrupting young ladies and newly married women ** If you are about to marry or are newly married please disregard most comments here.be humble.a good wife is not the one that jumps out of marriage at the slightest provocation.a good wife is that one that takes the pain , makes the sacrifices to be meek, humble and submissive.my people the kind of beating this 'open-eye' women receive on a daily basis from their husbands and even strangers no get part two..the truth is that if you cannot keep one man, you cannot keep the next. ** Op talk to him.let him know you feel disappointed.he's yours , you know how to reach out to him.continue loving him.look inwards too.could there be anything that is capable of putting him off? address such.it may not even be your fault.it could be psychological.the poor man may not have come to terms as to how a head could pass through 'there' .may God grant you the wisdom you need.(amen) |

@Op, talk to your husband and tell him what you really think of his action.Remove the insultive words out of your conversation to avoid a quarrel between you two,so that the real issue be addressed. If he is so idle, he should be carrying the baby immediately you finish nursing, both day and night. I don't know why some men like doing useless things that will not add any positive thing to their life or account. ![]() |
