Thanks a lot bro. About this picture, there is a slight mix up somewhere. I tried to upload this picture to the people category of the competition but got an error message that my entry was not successful so I just forgot about the whole thing. Maybe it went through and they mixed it up with someone's or the reason mine failed to go through was because this person already used the same image.
Will send them an Email asap and let them know about this.
Thanks once again bro, I really appreciate that you took your time to notify me about this. Feels good to know that we always look out for our own.

I'm not a man o biko, I'm a lady. You want to turn me to Caitlyn Jenner, lol. You are welcome though.

I don't believe this story going by his outfit/dress. grin
Lol maybe you would have believed if I had found him around the posh areas of Lagos, in a suit, polished black shoes, bow tie and a big geeky glass, the type that has ropes that hung in your neck and makes people smile at you and assume you are the next Einstein even tho you are an iti akwu lol.
Lol but to be honest me I fold arm dey look am that day sha but his mum collaborated his story but they were in a hurry to catch a waiting keke so I did not have enough time to find out more about him.

I think it's a good thing he is not been pressured into something right now, it's best he takes his time. What he needs now is a mentor and probably a change of school.

"I sacrificed going to University so I can be able to help train my younger ones, my late dad's dream was for all of us to go to school. When he died, things became tough so I had to learn this work and help my younger ones.
I still have plans to go back to school after they graduate, my greatest joy now, is that they are in school.
The only thing that makes me sad is that my dad won't be around to witness our best years, during my marriage ceremony, I had to use an Uncle to perform the father rites. It was supposed to be a joyous day, everybody was happy but I wasn't, I was crying because he was not there to rejoice with us."

"Some things would happen and my mum would immediately say 'if your father was alive, he would have...' It makes her remember him and she grieves again.
It makes me sad to see her like that and my plan is to keep working hard, provide and take care of her and my siblings so she won't have to say it again."

"If I had one wish now, it would be to end Boko haram. At times, I wish I had the power to just go out there and defeat those bastards on my own, take them out one by one.
You've been the one doing all the asking, let me ask you one question. Can you die for Nigeria?
*HOL* scratches head and starts beating around the bush.
Just answer yes or no. You see, when you join the army, you sign away your life, so many good men and women have lost their life for this country and they are forgotten immediately.
I'm not afraid of death, it's what I signed up for. My fear is that when I die, my family will be abandoned."

Corrective heart surgery for Favour Usadoh; Favour Usadoh is a 15 months old child with a hole in the heart, she and her mum were friends with the late Vivian whom we raised money for her surgery on the page some months back. The money raised for Vivian’s surgery was unused before she passed away and after her passing, the donors and our followers decided that the money should be split between her family and saving another child with similar condition. The total money was 2 million naira after charges. N500, 000 was giving to the family and 1.5 million naira set aside for favour’s surgery. It was Vivian’s mum who nominated Favour and her family.

HOL and Favour’s parents were at the Cardiac and Renal Centre of Gbagada general hospital to meet the surgeon Dr Majekodunmi for an updated echo diagram on Favour. The good news is that the surgery can be performed here in Nigeria at Babcock university teaching hospital by Doctor Tosin Majekodunmi and his team. We initially thought the 1.5 million naira would be enough for her surgery since it is to be carried out here in Nigeria but on meeting with the Doctor, we were told the hospital charges a fixed price of 2.5 million naira. Dr Majekodunmi who has been following this case from Vivian intervened and told us to bring 2 million instead of 2.5 million naira.

The surgery will be carried out middle of September at Babcock teaching hospital, our goal now is to raise the remaining N500, 000. To donate please visit the Indiegogo link https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/corrective-heart-surgery-for-favour-usadoh/x/11897623#/story

Please share and tag your friends. Thank you.

"My mum is my biggest influence, she is the most caring and compassionate human being I know and I'm so happy I'm slowly picking that from her.
We are having a family time here, we do not always get to see each other often, for instance I school in England and all the others travel a lot too but we make sure to make out family time once everybody is around. Nothing makes me happier than been around my family, knowing that everyone is okay"

Thanks to all the amazing people who have donated for Favour's surgery, we have raised $347 so far and still have a long way to go.
To donate, visit https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/corrective-heart-surgery-for-favour-usadoh#/story. Thanks.

This campaign is to raise the remaining N500,000 needed for Favour Usadoh's heart surgery. We already have N1,500,000 which was the remaining money raised for late Vivian's surgery before she passed away.
The surgery will be carried out middle of September at Babcock University teaching hospital.

"I lost my Job last year and after staying at home for months, I decided to start my barbing business with the little money I have on me, instead of waiting till I get enough money to rent a shop.
I learnt how to cut hair when I was still in secondary school and that knowledge is what is helping me feed my wife and kids now.
I opened 5 months ago and I hope to save enough and move to a shop in the near future."

Majority of my buyers are white people, they like this kind of thing. I'm really thankful for this business, I'm able to take care of my wife and kids from this."

"The first few months after I opened my shop were really tough, finally actualizing my dream of owning my own business then start questioning my decision.
When I opened, I wasn't seeing any customer, regardless I'd still leave the house very early each morning and rush down to the shop as if I was expecting customers but none were coming.
I'll just kneel down and start praying to God to have his way, It was just God that kept me going and to His Glory, things changed. The first set of customers came and I did a good job with their hair and they started recommending me to their friends. Now I even get invited to other states to go and style peoples hair.My advise to fellow entrepreneurs is never giver up."
