Actually, opening a Paypal account and getting it verified is some how a task due to the negative or bad name created by so called fraudsters. But I can help you out if you're really interested.

Simply visit paypal.com to sign up freely for an account. Then link your Naira Visa or MasterCard to the PayPal account. Anything outside that means you are either paying for ignorance or foolishness. Beware!

Yes is possible if the source of the money is questionable. Sorry, i didn't mean to be mean but i pity the person more if he has paid you the naira equivalent because it would be difficult for him to recover his money from you except the use of enforcement agency as most of you are not trustworthy at all. Am speaking from experience, no offence though.

Yes, it is very possible. The source through which the sender sent the money was illegal or against PayPal's laws.

Can you link your Stanbic bank account to PayPal? If so, does the new $300 daily limit affect PayPal accounts linked to Stanbic or other Nigerian banks?
Re: Anything Paypal by hisenjos: 10:25pm On Aug 14, 2015
Hi, how did you send the money? As a transfer or as a payment for services? If you are sure the person is not scamming you, you can ask Paypal to reverse the funds.
Contact me if you more assistance.

yes you can. for now, the limit does not affect stanbic except for gtbank, standard chartered. i don't know about other banks affected. you are free to add your card and enjoy their service while it lasts.

Thanks Mavin, u seem knowledgeable all this PayPal stuff. The main reason why I want PayPal is to enable me to send naira in my account to my U.S PayPal since I'm based in the U.S. So you are saying I should be able to do this without issues right? Also is the exchange rate N207 per dollar if I try to use PayPal to transfer funds?

Yes is N207 but paypal would charge your receiving account some percentage. Why not add your Nigerian card to your US paypal instead of the long process

I don't think that is possible except it's a recent development. I was only able to add my Naira card to UK PayPal account and Skrill but not USA.

You cannot receive/store funds into the Nigerian PayPal account.

What's the point in having a PayPal account then, if you can't have funds in it. You can't even send money from it is if you don't store funds in it. So the account is totally useless.

While opening a PayPal account, you were asked to fill your billing address. it's an address that is makes it possible for payment to be made.

Op please i really need your advice on this PayPal issue. I opened a verified US PayPal account through someone, and the person is telling me that i should not use the account yet until i fun it with not less than $100. When i asked him why, he said so the account will not be limited by PayPal. I want to start using it to collect my small small earnings online but he insisted i fund it first. Please i need your expert advice.
