She typifies the Nigerian spirit! Thriving in adversity. Doubt it? Make oyibo student come Nigerian university... Na withdrawal go shele last last. But we thrive in harsh circumstances. Selling corn obviously isnt her main source of income. She also is apparently married so she might be able to save some money on that end, hubby providing for her.

She also didnt state the location of the house and how much it costs. It could have been at a very cheap and extreme location, which is not bad.

We need to know the full details

I love happy stories and i am proud of her for being able to overcome her challenges but lets be realistic.

If you make 10,000 naira in profit a month from selling corn ( slight exagerration). I dont see how can eat, pay rent and bills and still be able to build a house with such income. It will take years of extreme saving.

Except she's the only one selling corn in a particular popular area, they are high chances that other people are selling corn in that area.

I use to know one woman back then that sells Ewedu in the market

She used the proceeds from the sales to send her 5 children to school right from Primary school to the University and she is a widow

She built a duplex from it.....there are things we don't know about business even as educated as we are...
