I didn't do cwm. I only rooted the phone. That was all. I did the rooting to enjoy mtn 2go 3gb data... But I will like to update my phone immediately the lollipop update is available... Thx boss for the relief. Av bn worried since morning...

Bro, don't try updating it even after unrooting it, it will still brick. Talking from experience. Don't say u were not told.

You are advised not to upgrade, if your phone has been rooted before. Unrooting won't make any difference. A permanent change has been made once it's rooted.

The only logical means of getting a lollipop is wait till it's ported as a standalone ROM and then you flash it using cwm. That's my plan also since I'm also rooted.

it will brick your phone life!! Find your recovery stock. Flash it back, otherwise if you update via OTA IT WILL BRICK IT LIKE SERIOUS EVEN IF YOU UNROOT IT

But if you unroot it, it won't brick.

Note: unless you did that cwm recovery, your phone will still brick even if you unroot it

AND GUYS, PLS IF YOU WANT TO UPDATE YOUR PHONE VIA OTA, MAKE SURE YOU USE YOUR OWN IMEI AND DELETE THAT BUSY BOX TO BE ON A SAFER SIDE

. DON'T FORGET TO UNROOT YOUR PHONE,

ON NO ACCOUNT YOU SHOULD UPDATE YOUR PHONE IF YOU DID CWM RECOVERY. TRY TO FLASH IN YOUR NORMAL RECOVERY BE FORE YOU UPDATE!!!!

Which way now, am rooted and I have downloaded the new lollipop 5.1 on the mobility website. I don't know whether to unroot using the kinguser and I don't have mmc by the way. Don't know if it will work still. And please who is using psiphon without rooting their phone cuz I heard it's not working without rooting.
