honestly I don't really understand if there is any biblical Injunction for praying with God of a particular pastor or prophet. I used to see so many Christians around me praying with God of Ayo Babalola, God of Oyedepo, God of Adeboye, God of Lord chosen, God of Apostle Sulaimon.. can someone make some clarifications on this.

It's because they lack knowledge.

Why do some of you like starting inciting topics that we know will only cause acrimony on the thread?

Maybe because they don't have their own God.

Perhaps they have to upgrade, maybe the God wey them dey pray to no dey work again

Because they lack knowledge and self worth. Its the same God that works in those pastors that works in us also. We are all children of God. Jesus reffered to God as 'Father' during prayer. That's all we need.

It's because they don't actually have a personal relationship with God themselves and they don't know who they are in Christ.

Why do you pray using the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?
It's high time we Africanize Christianity if you want it to be more acceptable..

I have said a million times that religious faith is actually the extreme opposite of what it seems.
Faith is the extreme version of atheism.

A person of faith is one who is terrified of his unbelief.

By switching to the god of their pastors, these sheeple are telegraphing the loss faith in their own personal god, in preference for the God of pastors, who seem, ironically, much better off than they are.
It is a deep psychological problem. It is the height of confusion and desperation.

Just imagine pretending to believe something that, deep down, you don't believe.

i think this happen because of self limitation.
they limit themselves to these pastors subordination too much, may be out of fear

this is the problem of Africans, we fear to ask questions from our religious leaders.

I'm not scared. Infact I'm very into topics like this naturally. However, it suddenly dawned on me recently that for so many years we have argued some arguments and today we are nowhere closer to have definite answers on many of the issues...why bother asking questions that would never be answered?
