The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described as reckless, irresponsible and highly provocative, a statement by the All Progressives Congress, wherein the party “bandied imaginary figures against the previous administration to suit a heinous purpose”.

APC had in a statement issued in Lagos at the weekend by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, accused the government of former President Goodluck Jonathan of looting trillions.

Reacting Sunday night, PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, said the APC had again exhibited its emptiness and disgusting desperation for public approval.

The PDP said “in trying to escalate their stock-in-trade of lies, wild allegations and falsehood, the APC failed to understand that their baseless fabrications are capable of throwing an unsuspecting nation into chaos”.

Stating that “the spate of fabrications by Lai Mohammed has become a sickening source of worry for well-meaning Nigerians, including those in his party”, the PDP called on President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC as a party, to call their spokesman to order before he plunges the country into crisis with wild and unsubstantiated claims.

The PDP said instead of engaging in unnecessary playing to the gallery, the APC-led government should get serious with the fight against corruption by investigating and prosecuting corrupt persons, while moving on with the demands of governance, especially in fulfilling their numerous campaign promises for which they were voted into office at the centre.

APC knows how to play both the Propaganda and blame shifting game.

The economy has plunged because we clearly have a clueless goat herder who knows next to nothing about governance other than to occupy the top position and push his ethno religious agend.


Things are going to get worse in our polity and you should expect Liar Mohammed and the APC to still keep blaming the past administration for their own ineptitude.

Its like APC doesn't know that they are the ruling party..How can they be both the ruling party and the opposition at the same time. Mr. lai Mohammed needs to stop his cheap lies and let PMB concentrate on governance.
