Hey nairalanders do any of you make use fl studio? That software is awesome, but it can overwhelm a beginner. Anybody in the house who have gone past the amateur level pls come in and share some tips and beats you made

Fl studio is great if u know how to use it. The older versions can frustrate u, but the new versions are nice 2 work with. It keeps getting better by d day as new versions keep rolling in. It took me almost a year before I could get my way thru wt mixing, sidechaining, vocal layering & d rest. Though not that gud in using it o, but fit try small. Which version do u work with?

I'm on version 12 now, that software can get overwhelming for newbies.. how did u get ur head around it?

It's not easy o bro, very technical but powerful Digital Audio Workstation. I used guides, pdf tutorials and video tutorials, coupled with lots of practice. I recommend lots of video tutorials, it wl help alot.

thanks a lot bro, I haven't seen much pdf tutorials on the subject tho... I have been going through some video tutorials and they have been useful so far.

The 1st thing is: you must be someone who loves music.
It will be much easy if u can play an instrument (keyboard mostly).
Keep practising.

Lastly, don't try to learn everything @ once.

I love music alot.

I dont play an instrument but i will learn the keyboard.
